With all the Peppino-related content Vin's played lately, I predict that within the next 5 years someone will submit a collection of "Pizza-likes" for him to play. Given that there's already two Pizza Tower fangames in varying stages of completeness, I may not be too far off with that prediction!
It's called Internship, and was themed around sandwiches and deli meats instead of pizza. There was a three-stage demo, but from what I've seen it was removed by its own creator.
Glad you enjoyed Combined_Arms and Gaiden. Sorry that give all didn't give you the candle but that's a side effect with how I set up the weapon pickups in that mod, lol. Gaiden's going to be getting a big update in the near future, so it'll be a different beast from what you played here.
My one big recommendation is Reelism 2, it's a big mod but it should be quick enough for Vin to try a round or two and is exactly as batshit insane as a segment like this needs
Wew, was that a mess. I should have simplified my Obisdian generation to account for that I'm used to its style of overdetailing after years of use, while Vinny is just seeing it for the first time. Other stuff would have been detailing unique controls if the mod had any.

I am unsure when it will be released as I wanna make the best as possible. A lot of extra content for players and level builders will be in it too. I hope you can check it out sometime in the future!

As for what I'll be adding, there will be a lot of new enemies, weapons, power-ups, pick-ups and a lot of D64 related assets for level builders! As well as a few tweaks and fixes and optimization for performance reasons. I also got a randomizer going to give the extra stuff more to do in commercial Doom wads. I can't say when it will be fully released as I don't do deadlines but when it's out, I expect campaigns to be made with this!

That MechDoomer mod just needs more open maps. Mechwarrior 2 and onwards was always about slugfests in wide open arenas. That being said, the Mechwarrior in me yearns for a Vinny timeline where he actually is into Battletech. I wish he would at least try Mechwarrior 5. People new to the universe like that one.
Corruption Cards truly is Universal. If it runs in GZDoom, it works with Corruption Cards. I was playing Hedon with it, but its level design early on leaves much to be desired and it can break a couple things. (like the final boss inverting its gravity making it fall out of bounds because it has no upper skybox wall.
Now that Bring Your Own Class V1.0 is available to the public, we have to wait until he plays it. A lot of things have been changed and added compared to the old version he played.
There are 2 versions of byoc mods. This one is for Gzdoom: it's a bit old one and have characters that now removed(I don't know why). Other one is for zandronum and have new characters.
on the mp5/m4 half-life 1 model thing, I'm guessing valve decided to to make the hd model a m4 to be more true to what the us military actually uses in combat, those honestly both make sense as both models are used by the us military, from my understanding the mp5 is used as a more indoor/cqc type fire arm by both the us military and swat and the m4 is more standard used in most combat situations

That was a combination of Target Spy, which displays enemy names and health bars, and an option for Obsidian, the random Doom map generator, that generates unique names for enemies.
Damage numbers and hit indicators are such a blight in modern games. They used to serve a purpose in games where stats actually mattered or in arena shooters where the game is too fast to properly determine a hit by yourself but modern games just use them as a crutch to artificially make hits feel more satisfying.
Now seeing that Vinny actually used Smooth Doom and addressed the oh yeah that IS a lot of animation frames I'm surprised he didn't say anything about it changing from normal to smooth animations in MyHouse.Wad
If your told all games will be removed and no one is allowed to make new ones, but your allowed to have one game. Get Doom because the mods alone can make whole new games but can made by it but are just mods.
Level randomizers always turn out to be underwhelming, which is to be expected. It's that whole "1000 monkeys with 1000 typewriters" thing. Yeah, maybe they'll eventually churn out a masterpiece but in the 100,000 years until then, you're gonna get mostly gibberish.
Hey Vinny, it's me again. If you get a chance in the next segment, give Project Brutality a reprise. What you played back in 2018 was a horrible custom build someone gave you that was a mishmash of at least 4 other mods and was horribly broken.
Re: copyright bullshit, this is why I am strongly against licensed music in video games. Not only does it make streaming miserable, but it dilutes the games identity. Yes, I am annoying about the artistry of VGM and always will be.
