i like his songs because where some other artist would write a song about an argument or a situation theyre going thru in regards of their love life, explaining what led to that "fight" ocurring and what happened in it, the arguments used, the offences etc. james will make you feel youre watching the argument in real time, he sings what he actually say or would say to the other person hes fighting with or having a bad moment with. he repeats his lines like an actual phrase in an actual verbal fight. idk if i can explain this right. for example when he sings "do you ever think about me?" it sounds like he's genuinely asking the other person.. in real time... not just singing about asking it idk... i like this little details, its very much of a feeling

So, I wonder what psychedelics James Blake is on, as it's obvious he's partaking in expanding his consciousness? It feels like LSD to me, and he makes a LSD reference in "Are You Even Real?", so I feel that's a part of the inspiration for these beautiful songs and accompanying visualizers.
