Awesome truck , few things I would say are worth upgrading on it like the servo and steering bellcrank and just some minor stuff . But will say to me is a lot better on 4s . Stay awesome Chris 🤙💪🤘
Hey Chris nice overview, that does look like a really nice bit of kit all round. Be interested to see how it holds up when you start bashing it but on the face of it, it has all the right bits. Nice work mate and hope you enjoy this one 😁👍👍
Hey Pete , Thanks for stopping by my friend , I agree with you it sure does have all the right stuff included to be fair about this . As you say its going to be interesting to see how well this tough trucker stands up to Crash with a C lol ! , Bash it i will . Appreciate you watching the video and supporting me with the videos , coming from watching yours it means alot . Stay awesome ! Chris :)
I’m with you on the green and the 17 wheel nuts. Serrated or nothing. I usually need to retighten during the first run on new tires but after that the serrations really bite in and hold. This def is the best TC and the one that best suits my style. Looking forward to this weapon being wielded in future vids mate! 🤘🏼🤘🏼🚀🔥😛💪🏼
Hey man thank you so much for the support dude ! , Yeah the green pops dont it just for sure :) As you say us bashers only want serrated wheel nuts they save us from so much hassle when running in the field . I cant wait for this weekend to come sooner as the weather is finally getting better wow we have had so much rain its been terrible with a storm . Full first time use video on the way brother ! , Stay awesome my friend . Chris :)
Ain't she beautiful! Wait till you get it outside in the sunlight. The green/red/blue portions of the body paint have a metallic/pearl that really presents a nice color tone change in direct sunlight.
Oh yes! Indeed she’s majestic ( see what I did there lol 😂) I got to say they have done a amazing job on the way it looks so tough 💪🤙🤙 Loved your I hate unboxing videos video lol awesome buddy . What diff fluids did you go with James ? Stay awesome my dude Chris 🇺🇸🇬🇧🏴🇧🇪🚀🛻🏎️🤙🤙🤙🤙
@@ChriswithaCrc Thanks! Glad you enjoyed my little satire video. 😆 🤣 Maybe one day I'll do serious "unboxing videos" but that is not what I want I build my channel on. I can't afford that lifestyle 😆 The fluids in it are stock, but I will be changing them soon. One thing with corally, I find they don't like too thick fluid. They start losing their agility. My shogun I used traxxas 50k front and 30k rear, and 500k in the center. It worked really well, that's the Mon-Rojo build I did over the summer with RCAWD, incase you want to go back to look at it.
I vent all my tyres & close off the holes in the wheel rims, helps reduce ballooning & also spins out water out of the tyre through centrifugal force Allowing the foam inserts to dry out properly, otherwise the foams remain wet for ever causing them to rot/break up. Every body complains about Corally not fitting serrated nuts stock, they come undone all the time. Either the wheels comes off, or worst still rounds out the hex in the wheel ruining the wheel.
Hey buddy , Yeah ive done that with the MT8 and fair shout its been great so far . So might do that with this one also . As you said its just a little thing but man serrated nuts is it not to much to have them on the truck ? , Only time ive lost a wheel is when ive not had them fitted ! Thanks for watching and supporting , Stay awesome Chris :)
Hey buddy , I think you would love it for sure ! very very well made for sure . Shes defo a tank thats for sure . got to feel this is going to RIP hard ! Stay awesome Chris :)
Hey there buddy , Thanks for all the support . Yeah i could see one of these in your fleet quite easily . I got to say im quite blown away with how much detail Team Corally have gone in to with this Vehicle for sure . And The Max 8g2 system would be perfect for it . Stay awesome Chris :)
Nice Chris! I love how it’s looking, I the future 6s backflip are a much better option than the factory ones, in Europe I found Kagama the cheapest at 600 euros and Kraton 6s exb v2 at 720 euros, I think I will continue to go with Arrma, I think it offers something more...good luck!
Hey buddy , Yeah its a tough looking truck isnt it for sure , Im going to monitor how these wheels and tires perform first before changing , As you say directly from TC is € 569,42 excl. VAT . I think this might make you change your mind about the Kraton 6s truck mind , you get so much more for your money with this Corally truck . Ill have a running video up very soon my friend . Stay awesome Chris :)
Just found your channel really good review. I really like this car and for the money you can’t really go wrong. £348 amazing value keep the videos coming 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks for the sub! Really glad you’re enjoying the content I’m so happy that you like it . £348 as you say is out of this world for the price Stay awesome ChriswithaC 🤙🤙🤙🤙🚀🚀🚀
Hey buddy , Do you have the manual , As normally Hobao Cover that in there ? With a truck of this size i would go heavier first and then work from there so maybe 600 to 800 Cst Hope this was slightly helpful , Stay awesome Chris :)
@@ChriswithaCrc unfortunately nothing in the manual ref grade, it just states silicone oil. You are the second person to recommend 600 👍 Thanks for the reply 🤙
Really like matte/gloss shell design. Front end is a bit meh but the rest of the shape is great. It exudes quality in a way no previoous TC has. And of course, that's reflected in the price. Even if you dont send it to the moon, this deserves to be run hard on 6S so look forward to seeing that.
Hey Patrick buddy , yeah I think they killed it in the looks department as you say the Matt and gloss look 👀 is beautiful 🤩. I got to say I quite like the front it’s got that USA 🇺🇸 muscle car look . Yes as I said I’m not one for sending to the moon but a 4s run and 6s run is going to happen I have a real feeling this is going to be seriously quick and a lot of fun . Thanks once again for all your support buddy . Stay awesome Chris 🤙🚀🏎️🛻🇬🇧🏴🇺🇸🇧🇪👊🤩
Hey there buddy , Here in the UK the lowest ive seen it for is £519 . Its Very very reasonably priced for sure when you consider the specs . I Mean some of the materials you find in this truck are for sure hard to find in others for the same price . and a rebranded Max 8 system . Stay awesome and thanks for supporting . Chris :)
looks like a very nice truck, it is, however expensive. Its basically 600 quid plus battery and charger. That puts it up there with some very serious kit, I know its 6s but the 4s range from Arrma are over 150 cheaper for example. I guess time will tell, as we see its performance and durability. For now, looks good but I wouldn't rush to part with any cash until I see more.. Will let somebody else take the risk on a lesser brand at this price in the early days. 😁
Hey buddy it really is its hard to convey it on camera ! Well the cheapest ive found in the UK is £519 which in comparison to other brand isn't to shabby at all . I got to say some of the design elements and materials you would normally find is much higher priced trucks . As for comparing it to the 4s trucks i cant say i agree with that the 4s trucks have there own category due to keeping the weight down on them for running on 2 cells less . I firmly believe mind that this will take a lot more abuse than lets say my SSTE or K4 . And ive looked on parts pricing see this is were i think they got the kagama right parts are damn cheap for sure . Ill definitely put this truck to the test in my own way and i hope you enjoy the content on it . Stay awesome buddy Chris :)
Fair points fella,, look forward to see you putting it through its paces. I was really impressed with the Habao SSTE quality by the way, love the look of that truck. At the moment I'm tinkering with a cheaper Maverick truck to learn and find my way around and we are still "practicing" with the Arrma Big Rock which I think is a great truck and very solid value. @@ChriswithaCrc
My mate owns this RC. I own the asuga. The steering Servo in this cars are bad. They dont last long. Im speaking from experience. I bought Savox SA-1230SGP 36kg. Strong ,fast Servo.
Hey buddy , Going to check this servo out that you mentioned seems like a decent one . As you say the stock servo is a bit rubbish if were honest about it . having said that most stock servos in RTR's are . Stay awesome bud Chris :)
I can’t see that happening at all the well made I’ve seen this truck sent up many times so far and haven’t seen a complaint yet . Find out soon enough tomorrow it’s going on its first outing . Stay awesome Chris 🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙
Hey buddy , I just cant do that its not in me to just go out and run it without looking over the diffs , shocks , end points , ESC and then binding my handset lol . Ive heard its a monster out of the box but i enjoying working on them and making sure all is good before running it . Stay awesome Luke Chris :)
Hey buddy there two different trucks to be quite honest with you . The FTX DR8 is a fast ground basher that is great fun for plenty of power slides and dusty number 11's down the roads , they have a great cheap parts catalogue also ! The Kagama is more of a serious basher something that is more suited to stunts etc in my opinion , Parts well at least here in the UK are sometimes harder to come by although the good thing is the Kagama does share some parts with other Team Corally parts . and there will be loads of upgrades for this truck . Both are great fun plus also the FTX DR8 is alot cheaper to purchase . but Kagama also has a better electrics package . The choice is totally down to what your primarily going to use it for buddy . Hope this helps Stay awesome Chris :)
That really is a nice looking truck 👍
Hey buddy , Dont it look awesome , It looks so damn tough !
Straight up tank❤😊
