Awesome video guide, I used this to find and remove a tiny piece of paper trapped in the fuser. You saved my printer - thanks :)

Hey I'm having the exact same problem it's a nightmare, printers making a horrific noise but can't see anything stuck anywhere. Don't suppose you can remember whereabouts you found some paper trapped? Thanks :)

xXOliviAxRoseXx Hi there. Is your printer working ok but with the horrific noise only? or it does not work properly? If the noise is coming from the fuser, the printer will not printer properly. So I believe the noise is coming from a different part. Is that gear breaking noise? or Metalic high frequency continuous noise whenever your printer is turned on? or a type of periodical punching sound? Please let people know what type of noise it is and whether your printer is working ok apart from the noise? If not, briefly explain the problem. Then other people or myself may be able to help you. Thanks.

UK ABPS Sorry thanks for replying, yes it is printing documents just the loud noise that's the issue. It has been printing fine then last night it said it had a misfeed jam, I took the paper out the tray, checked everywhere jammed paper could be and couldn't find anything then it just started printing normally again so I assumed it was fine. Although after a printing a couple of documents (approx x10 pages) it started making this extremely loud noise, it's quite a high pitched, very loud metallic whirring sound almost like a drill. It's definitely coming from the back and is constant from when a document starts printing to when it is done. Can send a voice clip if that would help? Thanks a lot.

That's usually a sign the PSU module failed.
