Came back to this video to see requests for redo with focus and better lighting. I am sorry, but I already replaced the printer after getting frustrated by the broken top bed scanner. The original video was created at night during the college finals week and I was in a hurry to try fix the thing before my paper was due. Apologizes for the shaky cam. I am looking to get a tripod in the future to avoid the whole nausea inducing video motion. Any recommendations for lighting equipment and stabilizers appreciated. By the continuation of comments once every so often, it looks like this printer is driving everyone crazy! I recommend visiting the site at the beginning of the video to see the explanation provided by Mikel Dominiack and John B.
Was just wondering whether you've recieved training in repairing computer hardware. I ran into the same problem today and have a ton of cartridges left, so really need this repaired. While I work in it myself, I wouldn't trust me to perform these repairs. But after seeing this, I wonder whether the problem can be resolved at all, even with the help of a qualified technician...
I received no training at all and was following a guide on a fix-it forum. Link below: www.ifixit.com/Answers/View/171317/How+to+clear+paper+jam+behind+fuser+in+Dell+Printer+1355cn Was rushed at the time of the fix as it was during my college finals. I ended up just winging it. Unfortunately, this lead to me breaking the top scanner because I pulled out the connectors.
@@Tommygunner5 Thanks, both for the link and replying so quickly. Let's hope this means that a professional with enough time on their hands will not run into the same issues you did then 😉
I have a problem and thought this video would help a 68 yr old grandma.....it didn't. I could not see or focus on the screen and I don't think it was an age thing. So I am back where I starteed!
focus is a problem, but the feeling of sea sickness is a much bigger one as the constant movement makes the video almost unwatchable. the low lighting does not help and the mumbled explanation is the pits.

Could this be filmed any worse? I have a C1660w and I have no idea how to take it apart
A little more light is highly recommended to see anything ;-)
Take a course on how to make a video please.

You need to re-do this video with more focus!!!!!!!!!!!!!
we would see more and less nausea if the camera was fixed on a trip or something.
