Hi Guys! Today is week #3 in our new series called "Quarantine Cooking #athomewithme"
This time I decided to share an easy recipe using another meat alternative. Last week I cooked canned Corned Beef Hash, after I heard on the news that there is shortage of meat in some areas because the meat packing companies have been affect by the virus and had to slow or close the businesses. So this week I decided to stay along the same lines and share how I make canned Tuna Salad. I always try to keep some in fridge for lunch or a quick snack for the family!

My mom used to make tuna noodle salad all the time in the Summer. She'd make it in the early morning, so the house would stay cool on the hottest days. That was back when very few people had central air. I'm going to be making this soon. It sounds so good!

I just made tuna yesterday. I had a sandwich yesterday and a tuna salad with mixed greens, avocado, and mandarin oranges wit chunky blue cheese dressing today. I make mine pretty much as you do.

I love tuna salad.🤗 The cajun seasoning is an interesting ingredient, I will definitely try that when I make it next time, it sounds delicious. I do not like onions, but I do put in red pepper flakes, and a cap full of vinegar, I will try the eggs.

Nice, tuna as my mother made it. Not Hoity-toity. She never used eggs, but I learned to like them from elementary school. I use a half and half mixture of Miracle Whip and Mayo. Only difference. And chips are perfect - maybe a sweet gherkin or three on the side. Coke? Or lemonade? The perfect Summer lunch. I’ll be watching more of your vids.

Really great video/presentation and recipe. A very pleasant voice helps so much. Great basic tips. Especially.....Start with a small amount of additions so you don't use too much mayo, relish or salt. I will learn from that because I always make the mistake of adding everything at once. Bad move from an impatient cook. LOL. Interesting that you added the mayo BEFORE the sweet relish. Not sure if that matters. Does it?
