We (Jerry & Rose) enjoyed seeing you and Jimmy's parents at Fritch Fortress Campground, Lake Meredith, Texas!
We lived in Fritch, actually got married there. Great times camping at Lake Merideth over the years. Glad you had a good time there. Enjoy your adventures!
How can anyone not love Mondays, when you two put out such awesome vlogs?
For me, I love Mondays with you guys, when I see you have posted, a BIG, POWERFUL, SMILE comes upon me.
Love you both 💓
That is so nice of you to say and that means so much to us! ❤💚 We absolutely love putting out these videos and if it means Monday's can be even a bit more bearable, even better!! 😊
That’s really cool to meet up with Jimmy’s parents and spend time camping together, I wonder were we will see you next, have fun and take care of each other xxx
How nice to spend some time with Jimmy's parents. Glad they enjoyed their first boon docking experience. I'm still in the SUV for now and pretty much having to stay within a 100 miles of Rock Hill. Got a part time job to try and save for a larger down payment for the van. That was a really cool place to park .maybe one day I'll get there. See ya next time.
So glad you’re back on the road in the van. Have fun with the parents.❤
It's so nice to be back on the road! We're looking forward to traveling to the places we didn't get to in Saguaro! 😊
DeWitt and Debbie's home on wheels is spectacular.
The tofu wraps looks delicious!!!
That’s cool y’all get to experience that and bonus parents. I love it.
Jimmy, I use RVminder on my Roadtrek to remind me about vents, chocks and other things. They are a set of straps that go on your steering wheel to make sure you don’t take off without checking. Safe travels. You two are great.
Forgiveness rather than permission is definitely the way to go with boondocking. That Class A looks so luxurious 🤯
Class As are lol
It’s a mini mobile home/trailer!
Just like home honestly
I travel in a teardrop..... Love it.
Good video guys, glad Jimmy's parents enjoy their first boondocking experience. I saw the Monarch butterfly looks like they will be heading south for the winter in Mexico. Oh, one place I've been is where the two trains meet when they completed the rail line from East to West. Central Pacific laid tracks eastward, Union Pacific was working westward and they race to Promontory Summit, Utah, where they would eventually meet on May 10, 1869 (I googled it) That is where they also hammered the golden spike. There is a museum there that has the spike on display. I went to the US Indian Police Academy when it was in Brigham City Utah back in 1978.
My parents just bought a camper, 2017, that is right between a class B and class C in size. It also has 4 tv’s. We joke that it is perfect for if they are out trying to enjoy nature, they can put all 4 TV’s on some nature show, rather than going outside. 😆😆😆. They also think 4 TV’ is ridiculous. They don’t even have 4 TV’s in their regular house.
Amazing views! I was just thinking of the great pictures you must have and then at the end we got to see one. 😊
Can’t wait til next week!!💜
what a great relaxing experience!
You kids are in our backyard. Wave when you get to Pagosa Springs, CO!
And yes, you said Abiquiu correctly! Touché!
We came in our cargo trailer to Castle Valley Utah helping remodel boys dorm. We will travel on tour with kids for Christmas program they sing and play music. It’s gorgeous here you love it. It’s near Moab Utah. 17 miles outside of Moab.
Love seeing all of you together! Can’t wait to see Shelly’s Nest take on the experience! 😉
Honestly, we're excited to see that video as well! 😄
I had a friend with a similar motor coach to this one. It was an Allegro Phaeton made by Tiffin Motorhomes.
Cool! Hope they like their coach as much as we like ours😊🐢
Thanks for a great video. It's so nice to get along with parents on a trip and it seemed like all went well. I enjoy your egerness to please each other. See you on the next one. From Central Oklahoma
I’m glad jimmy got to spend time with his parents. Well quality time all you guys spent. ❤❤❤
I'm glad your parents had a great time. Enjoy your journey.
Fun to watch. Look forward to many more videos of you guys on the road.
Love you both and this and every post you do. Please continue. Are Mondays your day ? Awesome.!!!!!
Just love it: You are living the life. Getaway and explore. Keep up the great footage. I enjoyed the Sunset.. Magic. Regards
Thank you John! 😊 We do our best to take it all in!
Great channel.
I live in Southern Utah. It’s starting to get cool here but if you want to do some amazing boondocking in a place that not many people visit, I recommend the Hanksville area. All the way from goblin valley state park over to Bullfrog marina at lake Powell. You won’t be disappointed. This will set you up for visits to capital reef national park and an excursion along Utahs Hwy 12, one of the most scenic roads in American. Also Look up the Burr Trail!
Hey there Jimmy and Natalie we been watching you building your Van. Very nice.. we are from Amarillo Texas . We love spending time at the lake Meredith in Borger Texas Very beautiful there free camping 🏕. Nice to see your parents spending time together.. we love camping 🏕. Stay safe out there on the roads. Enjoy your time together Take care God bless you guys. Like they say Hee haw from Amarillo Texas 🏞🏞🏕🏕🌅🌅
Natalie is surprisingly good at being a spokesmodel.
You two always put a smile on my face. Thank you for that.
So cool with all four of you! Thanks for sharing.
You guys are refreshing.
Thanks.
Love watching you 2. I learned how to water ski on lake meridith. Glad to see water as a few years back it was almost dry
I'm going to tell Debbie when they post their next video that the four TVs make total sense to me. 😆
Haha honestly can you even have too many 😂😂
I love Subway also!!!
Subway is great. I always have French bread or Kaiser rolls, cold cuts, lettuce, tomato, green onions, cheese, green pepper, spinach, mustard, etc. and make my own subway in between actually going there. Easier and more economical, often just as good.
So nice to see you're roadtripping again. You asked for some recommendations around the Salt Lake City area. I don't know how far you got towards Utah, but here are a couple of recommendations of places I really liked during my trip in September/October (and where you haven't been or at least i can't remember that you have):
- Spence Hot Springs in New Mexico
- Santa Fe in New Mexico
- Petrified Forest National Park (some great small hikes; there is a free campsite close to the south entrance)
- Goldfield, Nevada (international car forest)
- Chiricahua National Monument
- New Wave (Arizona) just across the Glen Canyon Dam driving from Page towards Kanab.
- Grand Canyon (North Rim), you got snowed in, last time didn't you?
Where ever you decide to go, have fun and enjoy your time there. I am looking forward to seeing your video. And I hope that you will sell your bus soon.
Nice spot for boondocking for the first timers looked like they had fun as well. Nice hike you should think to purchase hats like Mom & Dad have. Haven’t acquired the taste buds for tofu Mom & Dad were troopers maybe I’ll have to revisit it. It will be interesting to see where your both off to & when you will meet up again. Happy Travels! Be Well Bw Safe & Stay Blessed.
It really was a great spot to try the whole "off-grid" setup for a week! And they definitely put a brave face on for the camera, though I think Jimmy's Dad did enjoy it! (he joined us when we got seconds, at least! 😅)
Capitol Reef National Park, Goblin Valley, Dinosaur National Monument, Poney Express trail, Pelican Point on Utah Lake, 5 Mile Pass, Cedar City, Bear Lake, Mirror Lake in the Uintas (Winter time is only accessible by snow machines), Starvation Reservoir, Lake Powel, Sanpete County (Palisade Reservoir), Timpanogos Cave and American Fork Canyon, Heber City, Strawberry Reservoir, Scofield Reservoir, and town. There are so many places in Utah. I have lived here for almost 30 years and have been almost everywhere. Hit me up if you want ideas for a specific area or cost.
Jimmy and Natalie. You should try. Lake Fryer. Here in Amarillo Texas. Very nice clean place to stay. You will love it . Going through Borger Texas. . Enjoy 😉
I would like to see you folks take a trip up into Michigan in the spring, summer, or fall. Mackinaw Island trip would make an awesome video on your channel. And, there is so much to see and experience in Michigan all year round. Different seasons, different events. Can't wait to see all your new adventures in pancake.
We'll have to put it on our list of places to visit! We're really excited to see even more of the county with Pancake 😊
I really like your parents, they're so nice and decent,
I've been following them since the first time you mentioned them. Their RV is just awesome!
They really are, and they're so fun to be around 😊
Aww... Paula, you are so sweet! 😊🐢

@@ShellysNest ❤
Its good to see you spending some time with family out in nature.
Safe and fun travels!!!
🍃🤗🍃
Wow, i am soooooo happy for you fuys!!!! The van looks amazing and you look happy. Enjoy!!!
Spectacular site. Beautiful sunset!
So fun! Two of our favorite couples camping together! That was teally a cool place to stay! We still haven'tbeen brave enough to try boondocking, but I want to. Have a great week! Love from SC, Jane ❤️ 🙏
It can definitely be tough! In the end, it was a good decision to check out the spot on Google Maps beforehand... Natalie and I have had to turn around on a number of dirt roads before while boondocking that I don't think Shelly could have managed! 😅
I look forward to Monday evening when I can see what you guys have been up to.😊🎃
It is a pleasure to watch your videos. Thank you!
Wow! Beautiful lake!!
I am so happy for you guys being back out on the road!! It looks like you had a great time with Shelly’s Nest!!! Also that free camping spot looked amazing!! This makes me want to get out on the road so bad!!! Soon!!! 😃
We'll save a spot for you next time!! 😄
@@JimmyandNatalie Be sure to save me a spot at Skooliepalooza!!! Lol
@@2acresevolving777 Will do!! 😄
The La Sal Mountains (national forest) just outside of Moab has some great boondocking spots with great views.
The Lewis and Clark trail, from Lewiston Idaho heading east very few places are that pretty in this country.
Ye , I love watching you two on Monday, get too it and have a great time
LOL... yes Jimmy, camping is more than pulling up and setting the parking brake. =B^)
Always enjoy your videos. Have a good week.
cool parents 💯💯💯
Awesome video, even more to include Shellies nest. Very cool...
You guys should check out the Great Basin National Park in the central part of NV. Not too far from SLC.
What a great spot and better company!
You to are so down to earth. Love your videos.
You could soak the tofu in a marinade and/or pan fry it to help with the taste & texture 😊
Sugar, you brag all you want! Yall have worked long and hard for this.
This was nice. TFS!
guys you need to buy the block, for the tyres on the van so you can level the van even on a hill
I keep a small tent with me to set up in campgrounds that I want to come back to when we leave.
Hon
Cheese is protein
A complete protein even
Unlike beans or wholegrains or nuts/seeds
Don’t worry about the meet in your diet we travel in cargo trailer we just eat nuts. Milk, cheese, yogurt good protein nuts are great. We never eat meet!
OH, that sounds fun. The first time I took my new wife to visit my folks
we had to wait until dark & drive to a nearby shopping center in our truck
camper & park in a deserted dark corner of the lot to do it.
!
You drove through my hometown of Abernathy going North up I-27. I hope you waved!
🤘🏻😎🤘🏻
Awesome stuff guys
Enjoying your video, maybe check out some info on flax seed to sprinkle over your non-meat dishes.
Love your videos! Try marinating seasoning and frying your tofu in coconut oil! It’s delicious!
Awesome video ❤
Hey guys, love your videos! Please cook your tofu tho. It tastes way better that way since it’s not meant to be eaten raw (unless it’s silken tofu) Cut into cubes. Marinate your tofu with soy sauce or whatever spices you want. Put a light layer of oil on a pan and fry (medium heat) on all sides till they brown. That would make it way more appetizing to people who say they dislike vegetarian food.
Nice trip with your family
You should make the spaghetti like Sheldon from the Big Bang Therory does, add cut up hotdogs lol.
Go to Chaco Canyon National Park in New Mexico! You won’t regret it. The road to the park is gravel and it’s the most off-the-grid national park in the west.
You drove right by my house in Amarillo! I grew up around Lake Meredith too!
Oh so cool! It is a beautiful area! Even after doing a little research on Lake Meredith beforehand, we were blown away at how nice the free camping is there!
Stay where it is warm. South of Flagstaff.
Maybe next time you make the parents tofu try marinating it in your favorite dressing? Marinating chicken or steak in italian dressing before cooking is super yummy too. I find that to be a great alternative to dry seasoning.
Visit Sand Hallow OHV area and rent a side by side all-wheel drive machine. (Have several cameras mounted - Downside: Editing nightmare), but exciting. 🎉 Might want to find a spotter person and vehicle to travel with, for a safer adventure.
Love the channel!
you look like you're having so much fun...
It really was such a fun and relaxing weekend! 😊
You guys should find people to camp with but park parallel to each other make the rigs like ome big tent & use awnings to make a pass way...
Oh btw are you guys installing an awning or something to provide shade while sitting outside?
Another good memory !
How are you enjoy your new van life ?
If you go out I -40 thru New Mexico toward Utah just before Grants, NM look for El Malpais Natl Monument. Free camp sites and very cool place with volcanic remnants and sandstone mounds.
I haven't free camped there, but I have hiked and done some sight-seeing at El Malpais, and even caught an evening ranger program atop the sandstone bluffs. Definitely worth checking out.
@@seannewton8386 The sandstone bluffs are cool. I stop there when I'm headed that way. Real nice covered campsites.
Really nice RV
Buy a set of vehicles levelers. This won’t be the last time “level” becomes an issue… safe travels.
I might have missed this subject but, "Natalie' how do you like sitting up front in the van instead of the back seat in the schoolie.
Love your videos
Aww come to Canada
Yay happy adventures..
finished van looking good. who are some of your favorite youtube channels to watch? BE SAFE YOU 2
Thank you!! 😄 Some travel channels we like to watch are ones like Eamon & Bec, Kara and Nate, and Kingin It. And then some other skoolie channels we'll keep up with are Adam & Steph, Adventure Trudge, A Bus Life Story, and Leave Her Wild. Can't go wrong with any of them!! 😊
Have you guys picked up some Lego style leveling blocks?
When it comes to quick spaghetti use like brots or hotdogs for a easy meat substitute
We'll have to remember that next time! Natalie's tried to throw some cutup tofu in there but I wont let her 😂
Ive never tried tofu but what y’all made the parents actually sounded good but I don’t know if it would of went well with that… i was just thinking of something that would boil up with the noodles well and to me that say hotdogs or brats which i had people do in the past
happy texas.......thetown without a frown
Good video 😀
Like your new home
What campground are you staying at on Lake Meredith? I think I need to go there. Looks great.
Have you guys thought of maybe some stripes or graphics down the sides to make it look different than everybody elses white van??
I would love to meet you guy's, maybe you can one day make it to Sacramento California.
