- So this is my first vlog. I moved from Florida to North Carolina, that's scary but with this new chapter in my life I can't wait to see what I can do while I'm up here. Hope you enjoy.

Loved the video. You did a fantabulous job documenting your first steps into this next level of adulthood. I joined the Air Force as I turned 18. I jumped in with both feet as you are doing with your move to college. You will be amazed at how well you will acclimate.

Brings back so many memories of when I moved into my own place to go to college - so much hope for the future, the fun of independence and just pure elation! Can’t wait to see dorm videos and also find out a little of what you will be studying! I cried when your parents said goodbye, because you’re just such a great young man and I feel their worry but also their excitement. You are wise beyond your years!
So excited you’re going to vlog your college experience. You’re an amazing young man. My daughter is 2 wks older than you so it’s been fun to see how another family and you experience change and being on your own. You both share the same birthstone when you were panning for gold and gems. We as parents just have to remember we’ve done the very best to prepare you and ourselves for this day and hope you’ve felt the love, courage, and support that you need to carry on throughout your next journey through life. You picked a beautiful state and area for college. It’s going to be so amazing to experience such a big change. I think you’ll love having a change from Florida. The nice thing is you’re close enough you can always be home in a day. So very proud of you and the man you’ve become from watching vlogs when your family announced you were going to be full time YT’s! Abbie. I know she will miss you but it’s your time now, Isaiah! You spread your wings and fly now. Your mom and Dad have prepared you well for this journey and I know they are sad but also they have to be excited to send you off, well prepared to succeed! My own son is 16 now and is a super big brother to my Max who has ASD they are 10 years apart and I can’t wait for him to be able to fly too.....he deserves it...like you. As the big to a little on the spectrum your daily lives are so different than most of your peers and he like you, has taken on a role that he didn’t have to, it isn’t required but he wanted to. I remember feeling the exact same way watching my family drive away from dropping me off at university a few years ago! I still get that feeling every time I hope on a plane or depart for a new adventure. I always remember that while it's uncomfortable, it's how I'm growing. Best of luck on your new adventure!!

Move In Day on FA, and this video both had me in tears - I've watched your family for years, and I have taken so much from the channel. I've used so many of Abbie's signs for my own daughter who had a speech delay until she was 3 (shes almost 4 now)

I love the NC mountains, I lived up there On a dirt road as a kid in the mountains, and could tell so many stories of waking up to 20+ deer outside, walk-in half a mile on the woods at 2 am to fish, walking to hiking trails, all from my house. It’s beautiful. I love your outlook on things. Moving by yourself sounds terrifying, but one day soon it will be what you’re used to! I hope you have some amazing experiences!❤️🤟

One thing I have noticed watching your family vlogs is how well spoken you are. I know you struggle with anxiety and I also have it as well but you seem so comfortable in front of the camera. Your little speech at the end of the video about new experiences was wise beyond your years. I can’t wait to see how you grow and change as you move through college. My four years of college really shaped me into the adult I am today and that was because I pushed myself outside my comfort zone. One of the first nights I was at college I made the decision to give everything a try even if I didn’t think it was something I would like or had heard about from others and I am so glad I did. I decided to join a sorority my freshman year and it was honestly one of the best decisions I ever made. Not only did joining Greek life at my college completely change my social life as there were events most weekends as well as meetings and other events but it forced me to learn how to manage my time. I decided to join Habitat for Humanity and something called Alternative Spring Break where we travelled to different states to build houses which was an experience I will never forget. I came out of my shell and really began to be more social and outgoing. I also met a group of friends that have become lifelong friends since I graduated 15 years ago. I wasn’t sure if I would do well being 3 hours away from my friends and family but I loved it!! I would go back early each year to help the freshman move in and would spend spring break doing Habitat. I was barely home during the school year because I loved being at school or I would spend time at my friends and sorority sisters houses in other states through much of my college career. The first semester can be a little rough as you learn to adjust to being on your own and not always having someone making sure you are getting things done but you fall into a groove pretty quick. I would suggest getting out of your comfort zone, try new things, be open to new experiences, and open to meeting new people because these things could possibly be life changing and you may just meet your future friends for life like I did as we all learned how to live away from our family. I wish you all the best and hope your college experience is as great as mine was or even better!! No matter what this is a new chapter and it is going to be exciting!!
It feels like just yesterday that I was going away to college, I blink and I'll be taking my daughter to her first day in 2 years. Such an amazing time for you, so many new experiences. Before you know it, it will feel like home and everything will be old hat. You are going to have so much fun, don't waste a minute, it's such a short time of your life. Just make sure you don't miss your classes, and that you have a good schoolwork/fun balance. I saw too many friends that were very bright but partied too hard, fail out the first year. So proud of you Isaiah! I’ve been watching your family for years now and am always telling my husband how amazing of a person you are and how I hope we can raise our son so be as kind as you. I hope you have an amazing time in school. The best advice I can give is to make lots of friends, have fun, and go to tutoring! I was so embarrassed to at first but it’s a life saver and help me not stress out so bad before an exam!

I applaud you for being a strong, adventurous person. I remember when my oldest son left for college and moved out. He told me its time for him to grow and find his way. You remind me of him with your manerizium and kindness. You have heart and you will be going through alot of changes that your heart will be tested, but if don't change that part you will go far.
