- Here's my first week at college. We went to the Blueridge Parkway and drank a ton of coffee. Oh and I did a bit of college work too.

Retired PE teacher here who taught bike, scooter etc safety to my students ~ I know you are a big boy and are learning about being independent however PLEASE PLEASE wear a helmet when you ride your one wheel. Even the smallest accident can end up with a SERIOUS head injury. You may be very good a riding the one wheel it’s the other folks around you may not be paying attention and cause you to fall or even hit you. Or you can hit something in the road that causes you to fall. Be Safe! 😀👍
Or if someone else hits you in the bike lane! Be safe.
Former healthcare worker here. I couldn't agree with you more. I worked in Trauma for many, many years and a brain is the one thing you can't get back 100% even with seemingly small injuries. When I was working, there was a sign that we had in one of our exam rooms and I still remember it plain as day. It had a young man having fallen off his bike, lying in the road, having hit his head on a curb. Above this it said: "Got a brain? Get a helmet!" Well, we all know you have a brain, that's for sure! I also recall seeing you bring your helmet... please do wear it!

My dear neighbor lost her very good friend in college. He was skateboarding home at night, somehow fell off and hit his head on the curb. He died in the gutter alone. It's not cool to wear a helmet, but the results of that night affected so many people who were left behind.

Just keep your eyes open baby boy. You are one of the most special young men I've ever "seen". You are truly a good hearted soul and I love watching you and the family. Just try to be aware of people's intentions. There are great folks in the world but everybody you meet is not a friend. Don't ever let anyone take advantage of you and the things going on in your life. That being said, I'm so very proud of you!!!

I went to college, and he already has more friend than I did in my 4 years of undergrad and 2 years of grad school. Then again, my social anxiety kicked my butt, so it makes sense.
Bottom line. You make incredible videos!!! It's amazing to see your activities and to really experience your day to day happenings.

My biggest advice to any new college student is this.. if you are loving you’re campus and your major then stay with it. However the second you start to not like it or you think it’s not what you want, make the change. If you try and stick it out and force yourself to like it you will become miserable. Dreams can change and that’s ok. I wish I had someone tell me this 5 years ago because it could have saved me a lot of pain, stress and money. Follow your heart and don’t over think. You are going to rock this new chapter of your life!
Isaiah, Im so glad you’re making friends and settling in. Things to do... continue hanging out with your friends. Play games together. Make memories, study. Etc.

Isaiah, I have to admit that when you and your family said goodbye on Fathering Autism, I bawled like a baby. Maybe it's because I remember how I felt when my daughter did the same thing last year, but I really think it's because I've watched you and your family from the beginning. I only found your channel less than a year ago, but have since watched every vlog in the channel. I can promise you I'll do the same with your channel. As a mom, I want to watch and see how you are doing and what you are getting up to there in Boone NC.

The first few weeks of university/college are some of the best times. It's just a group of people who want to have fun and have a world of opportunity ahead of them (as well as the freshness of becoming an adult who is responsible for themselves). So good - soak it up Isaiah!

Isaiah if you need an intership to Graduate please consider working at SOAR. Its a summer camp for kids with Add, adhd, ocd, odd, high functioning autism etc. I have several co-workers I worked with that went to APP state that worked at SOAR

I was born and raised in Ohio (Cleveland) and still live here. I’ve been through the mountains driving to Florida. There is nothing like the views of the mountains. Enjoy them!

Hey Isaiah, have you ever thought about if coffee is making your anxiety worse? I struggle with anxiety and cutting out coffee has helped immensely. Just a thought. So happy to see college is going well for you! 😊

Same. I love coffee buts it’s not worth the anxiety. I don’t mind most decaf coffee when mixed with fattening goodness though.
Coffee drinker here... I literally get anxiety if i dont have coffee. Lol.
Caffeine can help some forms of anxiety. I have really bad anxiety and it thew my for a loop when my doc recommended it but it amazed me when I tried it.

Tell you what you need Isaiah, some mini-karabiners and some gardening wire! I put little loops of wire on all my important stuff, and if I need to make sure I don’t lose anything I grab a karabiner and clip it to my belt loop and then everything to that. You can also clip stuff to bags. Saved me so much money and stress, particularly good for travel!

They are Generation Z teenagers who grew up watching RUclips "celebrities." Of course they're comfortable with it 😄
@@shadowfigure3749 that's true. It's just that I've found vlogging to be a different vibe to stuff like TikTok, and kind of harder for people to get around, but they just welcomed it!
I don't think it's like how you imagine.
If you're hanging out with your friends and they start recording you, you don't get uncomfortable or start seeming weird or awkward.
It's just friends filming, Isaiah is the only one who has to think of it as blogging (thinking of making sure audio is good, everyone is in frame, etc).
