Look at you go using the metric system like the rest of the world! You go girl. I have to say I'm so happy to see the pool noodle roof rack. You make a me so proud. PLEASE tell me safety Dad will be a recurring character!!!!

The button on my bathroom scale that switches it between pounds and kilograms is broken so I’ve had to adapt. 🤣 Definitely borrowed the noodle system from you and yes, whenever there’s danger, safety dad will will show up.

i have this same board. from the lake to surfing, i love it for being relatively cheap. dont have to worry about dinging it or messing up fiberglass. yes it's getting a little lumpy after a few years and the foam deck is not in amazing shape but it still works just fine.

Thanks for the comment! Same here. I’m on the second season with it and it gets the job done while standing up to the abuse the kids throw at it. Plus, I’ve still got a little spending money on that Ocean State Job Lot gift card. 🤣

I like it, it looks like fun.
I've never tried a stand up paddle board, but I have stood up in my canoe. So that's pretty much the same thing right?
What are the chances I could stand on one of those things and fish?

Probably? It would be tougher as you keep the paddle in the water for balance so if you switched to a fishing pole you’d lose that.

That’s an awesome deal. Closest thing I can relate is one time we renewed our Sam’s Club membership for 50$ and got $50 off groceries 😂. Also, I’d like to order a Safety Dad t-shirt.

Oh I have big plans for safety dad. 🤣
I can see the merch now with his tag line, “Hey there friend!”

Safety Dad? He heard how we’re always doing dangerous things around here so he’s going to check on us from time to time. 🤣

Did you use the same sales pitch to convince Sarah to let you buy it 😂. I was thinking of buying an inflatable but not many lakes nearby that allow you to use these, they tend to be privately owned or part of national parks.

Definitely dangled that $600 gift card. 🤣 Maine is definitely lake country. There’s a dozen different options within 2 minutes of us.
