My age is 41 and before a year my RT leg was twisted badly then I had mri . In Mri findings there was full acl tear & medial miniscus grade 2 tear. After that Acl repaired & miniscus left as it is.Then I visited to psyotherpist for 5 months I felt good but from last 3 months I am filling pain between patella and joint line on left side of knee. Now surgeon is suggesting me to take gel injection in that knee . In recent MRI intra substance medial miniscus tear grade 2nd on posteir horn. Should I go for this or not. Sir please reply

Visco (gel) injections are good for the knee and are also safe for the knee. Through examination of the knee can only give the final treatment plan in such cases as Mri and examination may give different ideas. But grade 2 tear you don't have to operate, injection might help you. Final decision can only be taken by your treating doctor or if we examine you physically
