One thing I’ve observed: patience is important and slow and steady wins the race. It takes a long time to get a full size quilt quilted. I seem to always feel like I’m going too slow. I realize that after watching, that it’s beneficial to take your time and enjoy the process. Thank you!

Gorgeous motion quilting !! I love your sewing machine so much !!! The sewing machine is strong and doesn't struggle at all with the quilt.

I love how you are quilting your quilt. It does give me ideas and I like how you try out the pattern on printed paper first and then adjust if it doesn't look right on the actual quilt. I hope you aren't having to rip out the stitches on the out of the box part. It doesn't look bad at all and once the quilt is completed, it wont even be noticeable.

I think it all looks great! I wonder what the cross stitch row would look like with a circle or x in the center of the X?

I think I'd put a full circle in the middle of the X. You've inspired me to quilt my own quilt top (when I get it done!).

Where can I find these circle rulers? I've looked and I don't see any like them. I would love to quilt circles. Thank you for showing us how to do it. It's always such a pleasure to spend time with you.

Do you get "thread nests" on the back of your quilt by using the thread cutter and not pulling your bobbin thread to the top to tie off?

looks great. I don't have a fancy machine, it doesn't have a rulerfoot made by manufacturer. I have to use a generic one but then I don't get that spring action with each stitch. To have the foot close enough to the fabric to eliminate skipped stitches then it is too tight to maneuver the quilt under it. Hence my ruler foot quilting is a mess. I just bought this machine last year. So regret not buying one with a proper spring loaded ruler foot.

What kind of machine do you have, and is it low, high, or slant shank? What kind (brand) ruler foot did you buy?

What type of circle ruler are you using?
