It always brings smile on my face when I see someone first time listening to Manowar and understanding what their music is about. Their music is uplifting and making other proud of who they are,fighting for true values in life,overcoming obstacles and of course feeling happy after a bad day or bad situation. Thanks for the reaction and keep discovering them,you will find there is more to them. They deserve more recognition.

that is what manowar felt to me in my teenage years ( back on the 90s). nvever felt alone wqith these guys around.
you have to understand that most of ManoWar songs were written before any social media were a thing, or internet at all, people would get their upbeat stuff through music and tell their friends "hey listen to this" over the phone ;D
when i was like 13-14, cd's were a new thing and internet sucked. and most of people couldn't afford much here. we used to pirate by "casettes", copying them to friends. of course i bought most of them afterwards. but those were the days.
@@sickturret3587 a friend of mine had a tapedeck recorder, i'd bring casettes to his house on a weekly basis, we'd be just listening to the radio and if a song came on we liked we'd hit the record-button, magical time :D
Props for checking out the original version rather than a newer live version. They haven't been the same for decades.
Definitely an energizing beat and message... this was always on one of my mix tapes before sporting events...

Manowar Moutain is one of the best opportunities to hear Eric Adams true potential. Studio version is amazing but even live will blow you away.

I grew up in the same town with these guys, which is why I will never listen to them again. If you knew what I know, you'd do the same. Their last guitarist went to prison for child pornography, and that's not even the worst thing a member of the band has done. I've seen the results first hand.
