#manowar #warriorsoftheworld #music #review
i always interpreted this song as a war anthem against all who are against the metal music 🤘⚔
Whimps and posers leave the hall
Who are they fighting? As Tony Montana says "the world, Chico, and everything in it" 😅 All jokes aside Manowar's whole thing is playing their style of music, no compromising to trends and playing the loudest, best quality shows they can. This is their most basic/entry level song but a good place to start.
They are one of the few last great metal bands ❤❤
At this point in time, there was a big push for punk and hip hop to supplant heavy metal. Manowar was protesting that push. Plus they were one of the very first power metal bands. A lot of Nordic themes and medieval combat themes. Watch some of their live stuff. The fans are hardcore
I think it was more about hair metal, hence "False Metal"
@@ThisGuyRides nope. A big push for punk. I distinctly remember. Hair metal is still metal
@@jima6545 Punk was over by then, evolved to hardcore.
And rap was not really known at all in the early 80's.
I don't know what you remember, but ManOwaR's motto then was "Death to False Metal" and guess what false metal is?
@@ThisGuyRides I guess you're right. They must have lied during the interviews
@@jima6545 When was the interview? They did evolve over the years.
They are from a time when society was waging a war against "obscene" music, such as heavy metal and gangster rap. Dee Snider, the singer from Twisted Sister, took the Senate to school on the right of freedom of expression. It's a song about standing up and fighting for your rights. To me it is, anyway.
what in common have heavy metal and gansta rap?!?
More Manowar, please?
This allegory or analogy reveals Manowar's battle with false metal, that the strongest survive, and a message to all fans of the world to unite for true metal from and in the name of the Kings of Metal. Mythologies, survival, the struggle to become the N1 in life and in metal - that's their whole ideology. Great Metal band at the pinnacle of glory, where there is little room for others. Feel and react at least to the songs of Guyana or The Power of The Sword and you will understand that only a genius could create such an atmosphere of action in music.
^ this. Lol, tbf, if this is someone's first Manowar song they might not pick it up.
@@joshuafranklin9630 Speak for yourself.
@@mavrathmasterofsecrets8712 I usually am?
Manowar are the KINGS of METAL in the most true passion in real world words possible! Their epic is all about staying true to Heavy Metal/Power Metal and death to false metal. A KING is a King, everythings kneals...the fight is about false metal! It's all about true, honor, bravery and staying true to your believes..in this case Heavy Metal! Who is a fan of Manowar is a fan for life and true hardcore to the word...we are warriors of the world and who is into Manowar is a brother for life! They are also the most LOUD band in the world with a record guiness of SPL, but always and forever with the most quality possible sound equipment can deliver, but LOUD as it can be!! That's it!
Awww Yes! Love It! More Manowar! Greetings from Finland
I'll share my view about manowar and especially warriors of the world. I think it's not primarily about who you're fighting against or think you're fighting. There sleeps a warrior in every man, even the greatest pacifist. It is precisely this warrior who is sung about and addressed in this song. You can perceive the whole song on many different levels, which is what makes this song so great. It hypes you up and you feel like you belong to a group while listening to the song completely alone. It triggers a feeling of camaraderie in me that reminds me of my time as a soldier. Because the song is about swords and therefore the Middle Ages, a film from a battle at that time plays in my head. I think this song is really brilliantly written, the lyrics are really profound in their simple form.
Oh, wow. This is a turnup for the books! Absolutely love ManOwar, and I love this song!
Because metal is music of kings and gods that is why most people can't take it METAL till we die🤘🤘🤘
I like and subscribe for only two things.
Because you don't know what MANOWAR are truly are to our hearts and their long way to music.
You are not into metal and you understood right away how much deep are the lyrics for ourselves and you called SCOTT COLUMBUS (R.I.P😢 MY BROTHER) BADASS which he trully was!!!!!!
This is what is called Power Metal.
Heavy metal

Sorry, Manowar IS Power Metal
Tennille, I Love your honest review & glad you enjoyed it. I haven’t heard this song in a while so thanks for reviewing it. Have you ever listened to Godsmack? Would love to see your reaction to one of their songs
The war that ManOwaR is fighting is against every single person in one’s life that has ever told that one that one is worthless, weak, will never amount to anything, will always be a loser and is too stupid to understand anything.
ManOwaR’s reply: We stand in defiance of you.
Manowar concerts are always about mutual respect, honor and the integrity to be yourself.
I have never seen a moshpit at one of their concerts EVER, also every single person in those crowds is amazingly sweet, kind and helpful.
It's a stand against not only status quo and metal music being seen as nothing but violent noise and rage but also a stand against poor values, since every single person I've personally had the pleasure to meet at their concerts have always been the gentlest people I've ever come across.
Strength through kindness, is the vibe I've always gotten from their gigs.
You need see the song as old fights with castels ,good for movies like Thor or the hobit ,Braveheart (1995) and so on Medieval wars ,its about horses and swords like fighting in old times by kings
Hell yeah 🔥🔥🔥they are KINGS OF METAL 💪💪💪
Warriors of the World are the Manowar fans who are fighting against false metal. Their slogan is Death to False Metal. R.I.P to drummer Scott Columbus.
Hence the Nanowar of Steel album title "Dislike to False Metal" 😂
You have to try Nightwish and song Ghost love score, this is one of the most epic song ever, and this song is nothing that you cannot miss. I guarentee that you love it.
The live version was awesome to watch and to listen as well
Eric adams the singer was born in 1952, I think he was like 60 in this video and tour
"For Metal that is true", they are fighting for this, with "brothers" (fans)
Should try out the live video of this song gives more a clue what or who the warriors are
This song is simply about war, but you can interpret it in many ways.
I do like Metal Music along with an awful lot of other types. You need to check out the Feuerschwanz cover of this song - Its epic.😁😘🌹
Guitar riff is delicious
Sometimes music is music...Manowar has always been Manowar. It is what it is, I belive their first album was back in 1973. It's just Manowar. :) And it's bloody good.
They released this album after 9/11. It's a call to arms.
Manowar is the band of my life!
Hail To The Kings Of Metal!
Greetings from Sicily, Italy!
Listen my tribute to Manowar!
WOTWU Project! 🍻
Manowar in the name of the band warriors of the world is the song
They fight for the freedom of all there is and will be.
Let the power of rock & metal run through your heart and soul girl 😅❤🤟
You need to react to the official live video of the song.
They are the king of kings in this field 💪💪💪💪
Try out "Battle Hyms"
Man o War came out of New York, in the late 1970s. They had played for almost 50 years. Cant say that bout modern bands
1980, to be exact.
Manowar.
We are warriors 🇸🇪
They fight against people who don't believe in Heavy Metal! 😅 💪🏻🤘🏻 They want everyone to confess to "Metal" before they die! 😅
Metal... The one and only true way of music! 💪🏻🖤🤘🏻
Someone should've suggested the live version
You should check out the crown and the ring by manowar
listen dont stop all time ohh my God
lead singer is in his 70s
ManOwaR came about at a time when Metal and hard rock was being politically prosecuted by a puritarian bend of politics. Several of their songs is about embracing their subculture and to be proud in it.
Yea it's about d&d and lord of the rings stuff but metal
Fighting against false metal!!
Крутые парни🤘
I'm so used to hearing the Feuerschwanz version these days, I almost forgot what the original sounds like. Crazy thing, is it actually sounds weird without Melissa's vocals now. lol
Feuerschwanz is Great, but Manowar has a special place in my heart.
No comparison actually..its nowhere near this greatness..maybe good, but cant be compared to the true 1
We're just fighting for Metal! We'll fight the entire world if need be. ;)
A friendly tip: When you do this "reaction to music-thing", show the courtesy and respect by knowing what the band´s name is and what the name of the song is. It takes about 10 seconds of googling.
People talk crap above heavy metal and he's telling all the heavy metal fans band together an we'll win the war against metal
🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟
I think this song came out after 9/11. It might be for the soldiers motivation.
manowar"songs of odin live"
Nah, you gotta just give metal a chance. Metal is as diverse as any other music. Something for everyone.
You wanna talk about long intros, Black List has the longest intro I’ve heard in a Manowar song.
🔥♥️🔥
🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
it is (true*) METAL against all.... basically... that was a recurrent theme in metal lyrics back in the days... metal was widely regarded as inferior music for little kids and not going to be more than a fad by almost anyone who was not into this music. [abbreviated]
*as opposed to 'false metal'... not gonna dig into that though. 😁
dont take the lyrics so seriously!
Metal is like fine wine u need 2 let it breath. By pausing as much as u did it makes it hard 2 get into the song 4 u n he viewers. I’m not saying not 2 pause but let it play n pause after the verse.
Manowar is very medievil.
They are trying to keep heavy metal music from dying off,by they are fighting with the other music genres that's out there & their swords are their instruments & the metal sky is the stage tops
They are the kings of metal fighting against false metal
There fans are the armee if immortals.
Manowar us playung true metal.
Whimps and posers leave the hall 🤘
Back in the day there was a BIG BIG push to DEMONIZE metal music and fans of it by the then still CHURCH BOUND governments and media, so yeah...
More pauses for a God of Pauses. For the first time listen whole track, and only then use the pauses and analyzes
just do hail and kill by manowar. you won't regret it.
Try blind guardian
They fight everything false in this world. Like you.
"Longest intro ever"?! Miss, go listen to prog-rock/metal..
Fighting against the woke
It is nice to see a sister of color that sees real music no offense but to me rap is just jiberish noise how many guns and women they have no positivity that band is talking about uniting the world, mosh pit this isn't a punk band honey 😊
they fight for false metal music!
You're not into heavy metal or rock YET. Believe me, you will be soon 😀
Almost all metal is positive. Metal fans are the sweetest and friendliest music fans you'll ever meet, trust me. There are subgenres of metal that are different, but they're not the popular ones. Even mosh pits are very considerate, and if anyone notices you're in pain, you'll get help.
Unless you're actually at a punk or "new age rock/hiphop" concert. Those people are all assholes, and they do not want to help you.
That's not metal.
I understand that you have to stop do to RUclips, But when you stop too muck you kill the song. Music has a flow, Kill the flow, Kill the music.
What's with the attire you're better than this
You really have no idea do you?
What’s wrong with her attire? She’s gorgeous and is an adult model
@@mavrathmasterofsecrets8712 ik but still she's better than this.
@@TheAnswerWillleaveyou You know, it’s probably not a good idea to start THAT conversation here of all places. Just saying.
It's only a music with an emotion message.
Not much of a Heavy metal fan myself other than listening to Fozzy and the occasional Metallica
