I just got mine last weekend and it's great! Plus, the R Design can be had for less than the mid-forties in American dollars in the USA, not Canadian dollars.

The 0-60 for the T6 R design is 4.9 to 5.1 depending on source.

This is not a top of the line V60, but might be for the Canadian market. This is just a Polestar-tuned version of T6. It's a real Polestar version as well.

The suspension is not adaptive and doesn't stiffen up... It's always the same, but the steering can be changed

How do you review an estate car without showing the boot?

How does it compare to the other sportwagons you have driven? Audi? Merc? Bmw?

There in lies the problem; find another premium manufacturer in North America that actually SELLS their sporty wagons here. A dime in a dozen in Europe, but SUVs has pretty much killed the station wagon here. The Volvo V60 really is the only choice sadly.

Not true about the paddle being new in 2015, my 2014 XC60 has them.

Look, it won't have the transmission precision the BMW has. It won't have the steering feel an E90 era BMW would have. (Neither do current BMWs). The Nav system is pretty bad. It won't have a touch screen. But currently, in the USA, it is by far the best wagon for sale. (unless you value luxury and size over sportiness, then maybe the E series Wagon) It's fast, handles well, brakes decently, is super comfortable, it's about as safe as car as they make, it looks great, and hauls more than ass. With current discounts, you can be in one with a sport suspension and some goodies like heated seats and push button start for about $40K that gets to 60 in 6.1 seconds, or fork over another $6 grand for the R design and a 5 second time and awd.

As much as I like this car the $50,000 plus price tag is a dealbreaker. I just don't see a $50,000 car here.

It's $50,000 loaded up in the US. $44,000 for an R design w/o the options. But it already comes pretty well equipped. The high tech, nav, etc is what runs the price up.

You complain about the price? come to live in Uruguay, a country with higher taxes on cars, in USA or Canada, a Volvo is a car for those who have a good job, here is literally a car for those who have money to spare, this V60 here should cost around the 80,000 to 90,000 dollars. Toyota Corolla another example, here's a car for having a good job for you is a popular car (car to poor), in USA costs about the 16900-19900 dollars, here varies from 30,000 to 42,000. Here we have to settle for crap manufactured in Brazil, Argentina, Mexico or China with overbilled prices and not offer any kind of security, good quality cars have a very high price ... and you think they pay dearly for car hahahaha really are kidding !!!

      what is a 50K car ?

    • @ldawson103

+TheArrogantOne Not this for sure. Some cars live up to their price tags, like the new C class for example, its a $50,000 car.

LOL, when I entered a C class I was expecting to be awesome, because I had a brand image which was hyped by the clomercials and what other people told me about c class, at that point I already had a volvo, not the top of the line interior, just the middle equipment type, and when I saw the interior of that merc I was very very very disapointed, and I was with a friend which owns a BMW 3 series coup 335i, he had the same feeling. Later a bought a second volvo, the new V40, even better than my first which was an S40., a few months ago I went to drive test the V60, the model in this video, and a month ago I had a test drive with the new XC90, the V60 better than the V40 I own, and the XC90 I would dare to say its better than premium cars, its up there very high, next to Range Rover, it is that good. So if you really want to compare this V60 with the lackluster C class, better go test drive a V60 before opening your mouth.
