Thunderstorms and rain was forecast for Plovdiv on the day of the show so extra special praise is due to all of the talented people working behind the scenes on the tour who did the load in for this one, it's a pretty crazy venue and they had it ready in short order for whatever conditions the wind could have carried. Thankfully, the rain never came.
This was a really special show for the band, for me, and hopefully for everyone else attending! :)

She sounds absolutely incredible.
I was there and it was absolutely brilliant! They were magical! Such a nice addition to Wardruna for the night, honestly, it was so class! Kalandra really grew on me then.
I was there before. I wish I could have seen this show with these people. Old town plovdiv is amazing. I miss it all the time. Has a certain feel to it. Bulgarians are very nice. I hope to go back again.
I was looking for the full show they held in Romania, one day prior to this particular concert but this is a fantastic substitute, so I have to thank you for recording it. I never even heard of this band before seeing them live, but they made the whole experience so much better. And for whoever may not know, Katrine actually joined Einar, Lindy-Fay and the rest of Wardruna on stage.
That performance changed my Life.

In the shade of the trees at the entrance of the acient theater and the Arena Cafe in front is a mandatory stop on summer days. I love Bulgaria. Soon our second round. Greetings and thx from Spain.

This was amazing! As an American, I am proud to say that I would have been on my feet dancing the whole time! Her music moves my soul!!

what was the point in adding "as an american" to that. just curious.
This is why we don't want Americans at concerts that are all about the music. You can go and dance outside.

Thanks for filming this. The sound quality is amazing, despite the murmurings from the audience. Wish I could’ve been there for it, what an amazing performance. Only thing missing was On the Run. Really want to hear that one live.
You're welcome, the acoustics were fantastic in the theatre and Jonas the sound engineer did a great job bringing the most out of it. I used a stereo mic to capture it in all its glory :)
Would obviously be better if people weren't chatting so much but it's the state of affairs at concerts these days, especially during the support acts. It thankfully didn't detract from the experience too much. Hope you can catch them next time they tour!
@@luke.crafts somehow doubt they’ll be making it out to Australia anytime soon, hence I really am grateful to be able to hear/see a whole show with such great sound quality.

Thanks for the o concert. Excellent sound! Unfortunately I couldn’t finish it because I found the constant background chatter so annoying that it was interfering with my enjoyment of the concert. I’m surprised that no one tried to quieter them down. Surely security could have been contacted. Such rude behaviour.

This couple can't shut up during the performance, they can't stop talking, it ruins the whole experience of seeing the band live.

For my personal use, ofcourse, I just collect concerts, I won't post it anywhere or anything.
This is why I don't go to concerts, or if I do, I get a seat very close to the stage.
Listen to how many people are talking during the first song. So pathetic and disrespectful.
Yes, it's unfortunately the reality during support acts at most shows. I was there mainly to see Kalandra but basically everyone else was there just to see Wardruna. It thankfully mostly quietened down further into their set and I was able to enjoy the show fully.
The silver lining of where I was is that you can see the entire venue and crowd, it's quite a lovely and unique view.
