I love blue crabs, they grow HUGE in Louisiana, full of meat. It’s also funny that you caught a blenny, not surprised, they’re a strangely inquisitive fish. Glad you got to go to the good part of Turkey. In the East, around Adana, the wide canals outside the city are the best place to fish, they have some pretty big catfish.
I caught one of those venomous fish on holiday couldn’t find out what they where until now! Cheers. I never got stung and didn’t realise they stung, just pinned the spines down like perch
I caught one today i didnt now what it was or did my dad used google lens and I saw it was venomous but it didnt Sting me I alsof caught one of those derbios i used google lens and I found this video
I went to the same place mate. All I caught was a mullet, baby bluefish, squirrel fish and some mini's. Didn't have that much luck tbh. Glad you did well👍👍
@@shorefishingessex I was very unprepared in terms of what the area surrounding the hotel was, no structure just flat beach for miles. Very very hard fishing
It's an old Collins pocket guide, it's out of date & probably has inaccurate information but I still find it helpful, you could probably get one on amazon, I haven't got it to hand but I think it's fish of Britain & North East Atlantic & Mediterranean.
Rhys if I remember Guney AV but in the video the shop sign says MKE bayi, wasn't looking at rod & reel prices though, if it's like anything else in Turkey the prices should be reasonable, good luck!
Vortex Bobcat thanks, the book you mention is buried away but I think it's a Collin's pocket guide to fish of Britain & Europe (& Mediterranean), It's probably a little outdated, I'll try & dig it out but I reckon you can get it cheap on Amazon.
Patrick thanks, good luck!! If you have access to a pier or similar try live baiting a small fish near the surface, I didn't have the tackle for it but I saw a couple of small fish that I threw back taken by small tuna, it's worth a try!

Nice vid I went down the around 2 years ago too and was on that pier. Dropping crisps down and watching the fish just devour it is a good fun. 😄

If u catch any of those mullet they work as live bait or a bigger one (30 cm) make good eating if cleaned properly
