Reading the comment section and seeing all the missing Kanye songs on this video and everyone being upset about it leads me to one conclusion that Kanye has an overwhelming amount of amazing songs
Yeah ye has never made banger songs, he makes entire banger albums. And while his lyrics have been cringey at times he is on another level production wise.
The sad thing is a lot of people would say this is beautiful if they didn't know it was Kanye and then if you told them it was they would suddenly not like it anymore.

The best part is, I know a lot of people that you could play this for and they would call it beautiful, but then tell them it was all written by Kanye and it becomes "trash"

@Tony Montana nujabes was barely hip hop half the time, madlib is mostly a looper... but a sample connoisseur of the highest order. Dilla though... Dilla and Kanye are among the most important. Along with Premo and Dre.
@Tony Montana kanye is more versatile, creative, has better vocal arrangements and samples. 10 different solo albums with each a unique sound. Produced for many artists such as jay z. Hes able to bring the most out of artists. Artistically kanye is better too. His use of production to create a concept album is better. An example is TLOP. Kanye uses gospel and trap music to portray his life (man of god/humbleness and materialism/ego). Kanyes ability to express himself through production is probably the best in hiphop. The production on Ghost Town to express his bipolar disorder is amazing. What mainly sets them apart for me is his versatility.
+JSmoove I could have picked that instead of "diamonds". but i had to make a few hard decisions. i can play every kanye song though, but 3 songs per album was my concept for the onetake. hope y'all understand (Y)

I love how he looked at the camera as he was doing the New Slaves outro, that was EXTREMELY hard to play, but he was locked in. The Yeezus sounds were so unorthodox, none of them really had elements of a piano. It's SO impressive that he was able to play New Slaves on a piano, that takes some fucking talent, and he knew it. Good shit, I only beg to differ with Yeezus. Artists have been doing that noisy industrial sound since the latest the 90's, most likely even earlier. Although Kanye did bring it to the mainstream, it's been happening in hip hop forever.
I'm not gonna lie this guy is externally l extremely good on the piano but he really did overdo most of these songs to the point I almost didn't recognize them.
Kaveon Foggy the thing is though, a lot of these songs wouldn't sound good if he just played the exact melody of the song since a lot of the songs are fairly simple
Graduation is the best album of all time and I loved the CTMN and Homecoming because those are my 2 fav songs of all time. I always play Homecoming on the piano
+RelaxAndTroll Pure speculation here, but he may not have included Blame Game because the piano part is actually a sample of Aphex Twin. Nothing against Kanye or sample-based music (MBDTF is one of my favorite albums of all time), but to include someone else's piano part in The Evolution of Kanye just seems a little off imo, and perhaps the pianist felt the same way.
Jeremy Zeeky yes because its an electronic sample. I get what he means, blame game is a direct piano sample from another artist and if he played that its not really showing Kanye's creativity.
RelaxAndTroll I don't know if I follow your logic. Very likely it's just going over my head lol. But in both cases Kanye didnt make the original song of "Stronger" and "Blame Game". The only difference is the instrument no?
I haven't listen to kayne for long I was introduced to him like 2 years ago and heard a few big songs before that but when the life of pablo came out this year I gave it a try and it is my most listened too album probably ever I have been checking out his other albums recently and my beautiful dark twisted fantasy changed my music standards forever everything just goes so well together and his music has changed my life
MBDTF is hands-down the most musically flawless album I've heard so far, with all of the tracks meshing together perfectly regardless how or when you listen to them. -"Runaway" will always dominate a special place in my heart -"Gorgeous" and "POWER" simply showcase Kanye's lyrical flow like no other song can -"Dark Fantasy" was hands-down a perfect intro for the album. -"Lost in the World" culminates in an outro that left the listener thoroughly satisfied but also begging for a replay -How underrated "Devil in a New Dress" is will always confound me. -Even "Hell of a Life", the album's worst track, easily ranks within the top 30 Kanye songs. -Tbh "So Appalled" is a pretty mediocre track for me, but it doesn't interrupt the flow of the album in any way I didn't bother listing the songs in order BECAUSE THEY CAN BE LISTENED TO AND APPRECIATED IN ANY WAY. Kanye MIGHT just be an asshole, but MBDTF just shows why one must (or must not, depending on your perspective on the matter) detach the artist from his art.
my favorite kanye album of all time and I agree with most of what you say except for so appalled, that song is one of my favorites because cyhi ripppppped his verse. the RZA shouldn't have been on that song but everyone knows the story behind that so it's funny that he's on it
YEEZUS is my all time favorite just the sheer escape from his other work is incredible and to just have it sound so amazing it's legitimately changing.

You just put an amazing spin on my absolute favorite musician. You sir, are incredible!
family business is just too beautiful.. kanye got so much soul
For years, I listened to David Sides play his Kanye renditions on his piano... and now I get to enjoy yours. from the bottom of my heart. Thank you.
When New Slaves hit i was like damnnn
Imagine if this video was made after “Lift Yourself” and he would have to transcribe Poopy-di scoop.
I'm not gonna lie this guy is externally l extremely good on the piano but he really did overdo most of these songs to the point I almost didn't recognize them.
I felt the same way
yeah the melody was lost on a lot of them. He's great, but really had to tune in to figure some out without the titles helping.
Kaveon Foggy the thing is though, a lot of these songs wouldn't sound good if he just played the exact melody of the song since a lot of the songs are fairly simple
A lot of them were spot on though like Wolves, Stronger and Runaway
Kanye'a work is more staccato than this. The pianist is using too much sustain pedal. But it's still nice to the ears.
I can't even count how many times I got goosebumps from listening to this!!!!
Whenever I hear someone call Kanye's discography trash, I'll just show them this video. Thanks for doing this; you killed it!!
Good but you didn't play Silver Surfer intermission. Undoubtedly the best song on TLOP
Wtf 😂😂😂
YEEZY YEEZY WHATS GOOD
ITS YA BOY MAX B
YOU A WAVY DUDE
J Rock no Waves is
this deserve so much more attention
a man of honor
Graduation is the best album of all time and I loved the CTMN and Homecoming because those are my 2 fav songs of all time. I always play Homecoming on the piano
and I play by ear too so that's cool
I can't stop myself coming back here again and again
Very good! Blame game would have been a good song to include imo
+Will Smith But stronger is included??
Jeremy Zeeky yes because its an electronic sample. I get what he means, blame game is a direct piano sample from another artist and if he played that its not really showing Kanye's creativity.
RelaxAndTroll I don't know if I follow your logic. Very likely it's just going over my head lol. But in both cases Kanye didnt make the original song of "Stronger" and "Blame Game". The only difference is the instrument no?
+Jeremy Zeeky Stronger gets a pass because its original song is sampled too.
I haven't listen to kayne for long I was introduced to him like 2 years ago and heard a few big songs before that but when the life of pablo came out this year I gave it a try and it is my most listened too album probably ever I have been checking out his other albums recently and my beautiful dark twisted fantasy changed my music standards forever everything just goes so well together and his music has changed my life
Isaiah Brazen how old are you
Thefoodgood Jeff 16?
You should really continue this and make a series out of it. This was stunning.
"Yeezy Yeezy its your boy Max B whats going on..."
Oh. My. God. As a huge Kanye fan and a piano player this left me speechless! So amazing
Can you please do a longer segment of POWER please??
Amazing work!
This was absolutely incredible playing. Crazy talented and the arrangements were off the charts! No pun intended. 😊
This is awesome! I think an entire cover of 808's and heartbreaks would be amazing.
Robocop is so beautiful. that song hardly gets any love. thank you
By far my favorite "history of" video by you. Kanye has left a mark on the face of music.
You're so talented this will hit 1 mil in no time believe me
MBDTF is hands-down the most musically flawless album I've heard so far, with all of the tracks meshing together perfectly regardless how or when you listen to them.
-"Runaway" will always dominate a special place in my heart
-"Gorgeous" and "POWER" simply showcase Kanye's lyrical flow like no other song can
-"Dark Fantasy" was hands-down a perfect intro for the album.
-"Lost in the World" culminates in an outro that left the listener thoroughly satisfied but also begging for a replay
-How underrated "Devil in a New Dress" is will always confound me.
-Even "Hell of a Life", the album's worst track, easily ranks within the top 30 Kanye songs.
-Tbh "So Appalled" is a pretty mediocre track for me, but it doesn't interrupt the flow of the album in any way
I didn't bother listing the songs in order BECAUSE THEY CAN BE LISTENED TO AND APPRECIATED IN ANY WAY. Kanye MIGHT just be an asshole, but MBDTF just shows why one must (or must not, depending on your perspective on the matter) detach the artist from his art.
I love Devil in a new dress
ofcoursewetran runaway is amazing. Gorgeous is one of my favs too.
my favorite kanye album of all time and I agree with most of what you say except for so appalled, that song is one of my favorites because cyhi ripppppped his verse. the RZA shouldn't have been on that song but everyone knows the story behind that so it's funny that he's on it
Can we get full covers of the these songs, every time I got goosebumps
YEEZUS is my all time favorite just the sheer escape from his other work is incredible and to just have it sound so amazing it's legitimately changing.
No matter what you say about Kanye west his music is timeless!!! We're so lucky to have been apart of it
Runaway couldn't have been more of a perfect fit for any video.
I wanted to cry because it was soo amazing and beautiful
Would love to have seen 'Only One' included, imagine it would sound so good on the piano!
3:27 Can't tell me nothing was so litttt🔥🔥
I was waiting Blame Game, amazing video bro
If you created sheet music for this I would pay anything...
