Man, THANK YOU SO MUCH for this video comparison, you don't have any far idea how much i waited for this. you are litterally the only man comparing this two lights. Also i suggest you to change title or hashtag, cause i searched litterally everyday for "molus g300 vs g200" but your video never appeared. Only today, casually, i searched "molus g300 case" (cause i bought 2 of this g300 and i wanted to find a nice case for them) and i noticed this video in my results. Cheers man, thank you. subscribed
Once again great videos. I am still waiting on 2 units with the 2 softboxs. My question I would like to get a soft case to holds both 2 unites and both softboxes. Any suggestions?
simple question: would you rather buy, at almostr same price, 3 of G200 or 2 of G300? cause i'm kinda regret of what i bought today.. ( 2 G300) Maybe having more lights could be better but i dont' know if i will reach the total same amount of brightness
@@p_p either way, 3G200 or 2G300 will end up 600 watts of power. As for deciding between the 2 options as you described, for being almost the same price, it simply depends on the setup to what you need. Many times I need 3 lights instead of 2. It’s difficult to tell from my end. Both lights also have MAX mode
@@ArtVideoProductions exactly, bought 2 of g300 thinking about that max mode. I Just considered that led to be the same that is mounted insidie the B500, but for a cheaper price sold as G300. Im still thinking. Probably having 3 lights may give me more possibilities. Im going to undo the order and buy 3 of G200 😭damn

incredible review, seriously. I'm planning on getting 2 lights for indoor studio use and for weddings as well. I'm contemplating between getting either 2x this MOLUS G300 or the Amaran 300c, which one would you rather recommend ? thank you, keep up the phenomenal work !
Aputure to me is like Bose for entertainment audio, which, for audiophiles like me who REALLY know about home theater audio, there are many speakers superior to “Bose”, MILES away from it. It’s all brainwash advertising. I don’t have a single Aputure light. These Zhiyun lights are just as good in most aspects and cost less.
@@ArtVideoProductions I appreciate the honesty ! Although in this case, at least in my country the 300c would cost me 444€ vs the Molus G300 546€ Also, what if I were to throw in the COLBOR CL330 in the mix, how does it compare to the MOLUS G300 ?
Thank you for a very comprehensive review. Could you possibly share the dimensions and weights of the head and ballast separately? I'm trying to see if I could fit two of these into a flight case.

About the fan noise, i am super picky about fan noise but since i discovered supertone clear i am not that stressed about fan noise anymore, do you know that vst ?
If you don’t use the boost mode or keeping the brightness to 60% and lower in standard there will be no problem with fan and nothing to remove in post.
Awesome Review as always man :) About the music mode, i don't know exactly what manufacturers doing but i always thought it would be great to offer different setting one with a bandpass between 40 and 80hz where basically all bassdrums have their root note, one bandpass from 150 to 250 where most snares have their root note, and maybe some mixtures where the highs are separated ... but most of the time music mode is is unusable for me and it would be cool if i could use it for once for music videos where, let's say the rim light is activated with the bassdrum and the key with the snare. So far it we had to do that with and usb to dmx interface and program that but idk i think it could be way simpler
That frequency makes sense. It would be more accurate. Not sure why the G200 music mode is more beat accurate tho. But music mode and FX are things I don’t use…
The SA17 is the same bowens mount like any other, even though I have a SA-17 attachment laying around, given to me, I’ve never actually tried on the G200-300, In fact I never use the SA-17 attachment as it is not satisfactory to me. For a projection light, you have to get the real thing designed for that.
How is this video not getting more views. This guy explains everything, with comparison!

Thanks for the video! How would you say they both compare regarding noise levels at 100% and boost mode?

This information is at the BH website. Light and ballast individually in the specs.
