What an amazing and paradoxical time we live in. The Internet, originally seen as a conduit for our minds, for access to all the literature, philosophy, and scientific discovery of human history, is too often a means to misinform or manipulate people en masse, to spread rumor as fact, or to drown our minds and souls in an ocean of trivial, self-indulgent, or vulgar content. But here, with Sarah's channel, we see a small example of how this information conduit serves to connect us, helping us to see our common humanity and empathize with other humans, however great our cultural differences may be. To see we are all so much more alike than different. Sarah's reaction to music I listened to four decades ago shows a commonality, a mutual appreciation for beauty and originality, a bond that we all share, but so often fail to recognize in today's polarized social and political climate. Sarah's channel is a small, but significant example of how connections with fellow humans is so crucial for the mental and emotional health of us all. Thank you, Sarah. In an earlier comment, I referred to you as 'pure sunshine'; I believe this to be true. But perhaps as well, and even more importantly, you are opening the window coverings for more sunlight to shine through for us all. Thank you.

Hi Sarah! The Outlaws, one of the most underrated southern rock bands in classic
rock history. Suggestion some other songs by the Outlaws: "Hurry Sundown",
"Freeborn Man", "Gunsmoke", "Ghost Riders In The Sky" (Great cover version).
Thanks, for a good reaction video by the Outlaws.👍

In the summer of 77 I saw them open a show with Carlos Santana, Lynyrd Skynyrd and Peter Frampton we left thinking Green Grass and High Tides was the Highlight of the show blowing Free Bird out of the water

I was at the Day on the Green, Oakland Coliseum, July 2, 1977, which had the same lineup. The Outlaws were a killer band live in those days! I saw them only twice in the 70's. First time I saw them they played Green Grass and High Tides for over 20 minutes, although in Oakland that day their stage time was a bit limited, being the opening act. I don't think they played Green Grass as long this time, but it was still great, definitely one of the highlights of the day for me.

We all knew the ride that you were about to go on here! Epic country rock piece! I recommend this audio from Outlaws Video: "[Ghost] Riders In the Sky (Digitally Remastered, 1996)". I had this album and my Dad used to play the original "Ghost Riders in the Sky" from the fifties for me. Second recommendation for this song: "GHOST RIDERS IN THE SKY | Low Bass Singer Cover | Geoff Castellucci" with 1.8 million views! (He is the a capella singer from Voiceplay and does a stunning job on this! It will knock you out.)

So glad you enjoyed that, it's something,..that's incredible, playing, it doesn't seem real they could play like this,..it reminds me of Roy Clark and Buck Owens on Hee Haw,..old country variety show from the 1970's,..they had a musical part of the show, and you talk about musicians, I wasn't always a fan of what they use to call country western,..but man could these dudes play,..they would play like this,..they use to call it."pickin and grinning",..and they would play fast like this,..and I've heard the Outlaws called a little like Bluegrass, and Bluegrass can pick up the tempo like this just listen to ,"Dueling Banjos ", it was featured in movie Deliverance, first time I ever heard it, that incredible fast, lightning fast tempo,..do keep going,..check out Train Train, by Blackfoot,..another really good one,..Godspeed, Peace ✌

I wore out several copies of Bring it back alive in my day. One of the greatest live rock albums of the 70's(along with Double live Gonzo by Ted Nugent, Live Snaz by Nazareth, Live Bullet by Bob Seger, live rust by Neil Young) ... the version of this song on it was 20 minutes long and was dedicated to the Lynyrd Skynyrd band as it was not long after their plane crash
