Lovely video Paul, I know you may not agree but everyone who watched the video with me thought the hand held long shot of South Stack was a stroke of genius, nobody to my knowledge has taken this image before so its a first, always new you were a pioneer Paul, there were some really good images in this video at Lyn Dwychan, regards to you both. Colin.
Hi, just found these video's on RUclips. How amazing that someone understands that not all photographs are able bodied. Thank you so much please do more like these. A Wheelchair user Yvonne
Good on you Paul; this mobility series is first class and I look forward to part 3. Fortunately I ma pretty mobile but I did help a lad in an electric wheelchair on Skye to get up a shale path to a viewpoint; the lad was so happy to get his camera gear out it was very humbling. Keep up the great work.
I have chronic peripheral arterial disease, and i am severely restricted in the distance i can walk without pain.i was thinking , that most of my landscapes would be coastal shots, but you opened my eyes to new possibilities
Another super video Paul. I particularly liked the motion blend shots which I must try some time, never thought to do that before so thanks for giving me the idea. The pano came out well too & of course, South Stack - what a lovely place, that's somewhere else to add to the list! Keep up the good work :-)
Looking forward to part three I would love to see more of these videos with easy access. Calendar is a great idea I’m interested. Fantastic images keep up the great work Paul 🤓👍
My Calendar is on Pre-Order and i will be signing these.. i am sending out a message to everyone that showed interested.. you can use my web site to make a Pre-Order payment or you can pay me direct with PayPal £19.99 if you message or email me.. i do appreciate your support..Thanks
Great little mini series Paul, wonderful idea. Thought the stitched images worked alright, as did the wide pano. Can see the xt3 becoming a bit of a favourite with the ever increasing range of lenses, no doubt handy for Mrs C! Keep up the good work matey.
Another great video Paul, love the longer videos, no one else is putting out the quality you are at the moment. Was going to ask about the calendar! Had one of Thomas Heatons this year but definitely put me down for one of yours. Cheers, keep up the great work.
Great set of videos Paul...As it happens we are off to Llanberis (lone tree) and a few other locations next weekend 22-23rd, its like you made these just for me...lol. Your videos are just perfect for people who are little less able or people like myself who haven't seen any of these awesome spots. I will be taking the crappy weather with me (as always) so if you have anything planned outside of Wales you'll have a great time...haha. I love how you make a photo out of any situation...that's a great talent...keep up the great work!
@@paulcomptonpdphotography Its a small world...haha, i probably wont even see you, not doing the lone tree until sunday, if theres anything left of it.
Great video, my favourite from the day was Motion Blend. You sure worked that location with a fair number of good compositions, a useful lesson in itself. I am interested in your less mobile meet up. I went to Anglesey this year in March but apart from Penmon and South Stack I found it hard going with too much walking, ditto Snowdonia, even worse. I did find a car park much nearer that where you parked at S Stack, it was just almost too winday to stand and certainly no good for tripod!
yes you can park at the end near the steps good point could of said that.. my web stie goes live this week ill put details on there soon as i can about the free mobile workshop
Hi Paul I would be interested in a calendar, and I love this Vlog, as not everyone is super fit and many have health issues. So just want to compliment on your down to earth views on landscape photography. I would just love to meet up with you and hope our paths will cross one day. Thank you. Phil
@@paulcomptonpdphotography hi yes I did purchase a calendar, but have not received it yet. But I am on holiday in the lake district, so it may be there on my return?
Hi mate. Great Vlog and love the lighthouses shots. I have sailed pass there many times in my 10 years sea career. Big thank you for putting in time for showing us places where there is for us less able body can get to. All the best Vince.
Yet another great video with you both enjoying life to the full, cant wait to see the next episode, keep them coming, on another subject i see from your list of equipment for sound (which i struggle with) you use the zoom H1, are they easy to use and sync in post, would rather have your opinion than a sales person as you are using it in the field as to say.
Paul, apart from you being a gent, they are probably the best photo's I've seen of South Stack, all the others seem to obliterate the shot with perspective leading lines, which I'm sure I'd do (can't resist a bit of leading line) but that wee patch of flowers on the rock and keeping the sea a contrasting blue/grey is just so well balanced, not too many points of interest, it just allows the eye to roam. Yeah, do more vlogs of easy access and where to park (do mention parking fees, I know places in the Lake District that are just extortion). Great vlog, moving on to the Calendar one next.
Great Photos as usual, like the idea of limited mobiliy photography, as I have limited mobility myself, to many hours spent playing tennis has come back to haunt me, Also I don't drive, so even worse for me, perhaps you could make a video using only public transport, would perhaps be a challenge, as usually no sunrise or sunsets, as no buses. I have been making small calendar booklets for some years now, only about 70 x 40 mm so as fit into wallets and puses, always popular with my friends, Great video as usual, look forward to the next one
Hi there Paul very impressive photos and video tried to message u on Instagram but not sure of u received it or not I wouldn’t be interested in calendar as I’m a photographer myself an amateur photographer and I’m also severely sight impaired/blind and I struggle with my mobility so this vid is very informative for me. I would maybe interested in the free workshop but would need more information about location, dates and times as I’m in the north east well done on this vid
That’s great to hear that Paul if had plenty of warning and ok with my mum as cos of my eye situation I can’t drive so she my transport but could get up to the Lake District if u r going up there would u mind messaging me on Instagram pls when u get a minute or two thanks cheers and ya videos help me a lot thinking of adding to my gear but not sure maybe mirrorless to take my long exposure and for my wildlife behind fences which I photograph but can’t choose either Sony A9 or A7r or A7 Fuji xt2/3 or lumix G9 or maybe Olympus. What cameras do u use Paul do u use mirrorless?
Can't thank you enough for this little 'mini series' on Low Mobility Locations Paul. I'm not exactly immobile, just a bit elderly!! (73 to be precise) Always looking for 'close to the road' sites. I found Ogwen Cottage in Snowdonia pretty good, just a short walk from the car park some beautiful views.Just wanted to say you're doing some excellent stuff, well done Sir.
Hi Paul really enjoyed that vlog, I would say one of your best.....Do you think I could qualify for that workshop if I cut a toe off or two.. No joking aside it was good mate... Also your really getting used to the Fuji now all the images were great... keep up the good work and thanks … Almost forgot the longer the better your vlogs, I get a bit down when there only for 10 minutes lol … how sad am I.... see ya later
Afternoon photos ... tree, island, etc. the greens sure pop with the X-T3. Calendar: Interested depending on planned page/image size and estimated cost. [I have been producing 2 calendar editions each year for the past 5 years printed by VistaPrint]. No need to 'apologize' for the hand held shots .... when it works, it works.
ill pop your name down as a maybe, the size will be a double A4 dropdown with an A4 photo and i hope one of Mrs C's as well on the bottom page next to dates price i am working on, its very hard your first time
At this time in the video ruclips.net/video/9PPyZE8XD6E/видео.html if you compare your picture with the vlog background view of the same place, it would be interesting if you could explain how to edit the picture to get that "dark but still glowing" impression. Perhaps in a coming video? ;-)
