      Agreed :). I'm getting better with every video but I'm learning a lot along the way! Thanks for watching!

    Those lights were definitely green. Like green as hell.

      yeah had a tint to it. but for the size I suppose they had to compromise somewhere. LEDs have come a long ways in the few years since this video was made

    I had a previous version. Awesome light without any issues. Used daily for years. Until I dropped it in water today 😢 Will replace it with the SE.

      Agreed, these are great little lights that have enough power to actually be useful and in a size you'll always have with you.
      Thanks for watching!

    Tip2 or tip se which one is batter ur recommendations?

    • @gearsNtools
      @gearsNtools  3 года назад +1

      the TIP 2 has a magnetic base on it, and is a little more expensive. brightness and function are similar to this SE. I personally would save the money and go with the SE unless you really need the magnetic base in your use case.

    I have a nitecore, is it the same when the flashlight is full and not used all day the flashlight battery drains by itself

    • @gearsNtools
      @gearsNtools  Год назад

      I haven't had this problem. if I leave it sit for 3+ months I'll see some drain. but day to day I haven't had issues.
      Is it getting turned on in your pocket or bag perhaps?

    Good review thanks. For the price this is a must have it seems. Might go pick one up. Cheers
    Edit: I got one and I can say it's quite an amazing little gadget. Very usable interface and it gives out incredible light for it's size. Very nice to have

    I think rovy out classes these easly and Fenix this nicore looks flimsy and poorly made when I see it in videos

    • @dcaudwell
      @dcaudwell 2 года назад

      It's metal and not flimsy at all! However , I agree the Rovy von lights are hard to beat for feature set and overall performance.

    • @heithheithinson2495
      @heithheithinson2495 Год назад

      It’s not flimsy. It’s metal and got some weight to it. I’ve had it for a year, dropped it, stepped on it, dog chewed it, left it in the rain a couple times…still runs fine.
