You're kinda living my dream here. If I could get all of Westworld on blu-ray I'd probably be happy enough. If I could get all the marvel movies on blu-ray I'd be overjoyed.
Yeah upgrades can start to pile up, I’m finally down to about 200 DVDs that have Blu-ray’s and I’m not keeping multiple copies. Thank you that Girl Next Door is fun, I had the other one that is a true crime story that one isn’t fun but a good one.
@@daver7178 Well thank you man! Glad you’re getting value out of it. Feedback is always welcome and appreciated. Enjoy the journey brother! What is something you added to your collection that impressed you; whether it was a blind buy or picture quality?
That’s awesome getting used and saving on movies seems like a whole other hobby. I hit my used book store at least once a week, found some true gems myself. Always finding TV shows on blu-ray. Have you ever gone there and found a hard to find movie?
Wow, really good pickups. I don't have too many 4Ks but do have Training Day and Ex Machina on 4K (both great films). Thanks for your recommendations and detailed thoughts on each film. I added so many films to my wishlist while watching your video. I am a big fan of Elliot Gould also and really enjoy him in The Long Goodbye, M*A*S*H, Little Murders, and California Split just to name a few. Thanks also for the reminder that it's all too common for films to go OOP or become unavailable so good to pickup when you can and the price is right. Great video.
Thank you, and I still need to watch The Long Goodbye, Little Murderers is a new one I’ll have to add it to the list. I remember the M*A*S*H reruns when I was a kid that that whole time just never could get into it, too young and nothing to connect with. I’ll have to give the movie a chance, great cast.
@@Trekapedia Thank you, appreciate the kind words! Will do movies for me is more than a hobby it’s a lifestyle. What was something you watched or picked up this month?
I went overboard this month also. But I did purge and trade in a lot of items that were not stuff I wanted to keep in the collection. I want to save this month for that huge Bonanza set. Anything large or expensive you have been wanting?
@@thebigragoo other than the Frank Capra set that comes out Tuesday! The next big one I’m waiting for is the Neverending Story set super stoked about that. That stuff is all set and paid for. The 2 releases that I’m saving for is the I Dream of Jeannie and Bewitched sets in January. Those are a budget busters especially right after the holidays.
@@80sMadeConsumer OH WOW those sets are incredible. I just ordered I Dream of Jeannie BD through Deep Discount ($23) and I have Bewitched on DVD I will not upgrade that one. I was so tempted to order that I Dream of Jeannie from Imprint. I really doubt that price will go down either. only 1000 made?
@ I only had 2 seasons of each on dvd, the imprint versions just sucked me in. I’m a huge Imprint fan boy. I don’t think they’ll sell out super fast, but doubt they’ll catch a sale.
We work like so many other families, but my bills are low. We haven’t had a car payment in over 5 years, we don’t eat out, no Starbucks or little extras my only hobby is movies. We cut out cable 7 years ago and what we were spending on that goes into my movie budget. The months I don’t buy as many movies that money is available for later months.
Did you grab any of these titles; or what did you pick up?
"More stuff is coming"
Hell yeah! 🤣
@@Franksmediaandreviews brother I didn’t realize I ordered so much 😂

Man I always find the MCU Blu-ray’s and sometimes a 4k at the thrift stores and used book stores. A great way to fill some holes in your collection.

Thanks and no worries I have a good amount still on the way haha
