    Thank you.
The future could be bright but only if good folk collaborate.

I like this idea, I just wonder how it can actually work for those of us NOT in cities, especially poor towns that do not have the ability or finances to build a better infrastructure.

If I may respond, i was recently in Nepal to find out what would work best in a hilly terrain. And as a community focus group discussion we came up with shared mobility like six seater/8 seaters/ micro buses as a solution to mass mobility. It is unfair otherwise to let go off of our public spaces for private vehicle parking, making it inconvenient for pedestrians or kids who would otherwise love to cycle around.
So mass transit at a frequency that works for the local geography is one of the solutions to consider...

@@CarfreeCitiesAlliance Thank you for responding. It is interesting to think of ideas that can work for different areas. No one solution fits all places. I'd love to continue hearing about more ideas and places that have implemented them and expanded our ideas of what is possible.

Totally agree. Cities in Australia, like in the United States are built around the car. If you don’t drive or have a car you frowned upon.
Public transportation is so expensive here in Sydney. There is no daily, weekly, or monthly ticket option. The whole system is driven a profit driven motif. The prices keep increasing.
I would also like to see car free areas, with only public transportation.
