Our mini washing machine was a real game changer. And I love that we’re not the only ones that have a trashed boat for every project. Great video

Ha! Nope you’re not alone. And it seems like those projects never end somedays. 😂

My family was worried about you - we are so accustomed to Sunday videos - and when we couldn't find you for two weeks we kinda freaked. We are glad you guys are all good.

That's all we have for this week. Thank you for watching our video all the way through. We would love to see you next time.

You two are a Hoot! It's crazy how fast we collect stuff. The washer is a great addition. And for that price, it will quickly pay for itself. Keep up the work.

One little project can create such a mess, but well worth it

My wife saw the video playing and called out “oh no has spoondrifter been burgled” and is now having a slow panic attack seeing all the clutter below decks lol

A couple things to save power would be to install DC powered chargers for the devices, and install a smaller inverter for the items needing constant power. The larger the inverter, the more it pulls when idle.

You make really good use of your lithium batterbank! If the batteries have bluetooth and show the cellvoltages, please share the readings sometime! It would be great to know how the batteries manage cell voltages by time and number of cycles

These don’t have Bluetooth but I’ll ask Todd what the Victron system says as I think it has that info.

so the next upgrade will be more solar panels on the bimini so on those overcast days you can refill the batteries quicker? Or you could just pretend you're geese and go south for the winter 😉

I would like to wish ya'll a Very Merry Christmas 🎅 🎄 and a Happy New Year 🎉.
When it comes to solar, We have solar on our home. And at night, when everything is off, we use about 0.03 of power 🔋. And most of that is things that are on stand by ready to be used at any time. Things like the microwave and it's clock that's always on. TV 📺, even though they are off, they still draw power. They have internal clocks and memories of programming that takes power to keep them up and ready to run when you are ready to use them. Same with the refrigerator and the freezer. So in the morning we most of the time are at 35 % to 45 % of power 🔋. But by 11 a.m. we are at 100% of power 🔋. And during the day. Our solar runs all the power for our home 🏡.
Ok, until next time, Aloha from the Big Island of Hawaii!
    Aloha and Cheers 🍻

    Todd doing Todd things.
So why did your boat sink? I don't know all I did was add one piece of straw!
I bet you guys have the most comfortable boat on the water. You guys have definitely made a pretty nice boat.

Guys, I have a UPS system (LiFePO4 battery) in the house for some critical circuits. I had the charger set to charge the battery off the grid when the SOC hits 25%. Well SOC is calculated so its not 100% accurate and can drift significantly over time. So much so the BMS shut the battery off after a couple months even thou SOC was reported to be 93% so check the voltage.. I have adjusted the charging parameters to charge based on voltage now. Luckily the battery system has a reset button so I didn't have to jump start the battery. So beware. Is Todd losing weight? Is that dust or bugs flying around in the video?

We thought about it but believe it or not, there’s not enough room in there… though there was conversation about building a shelf over the generator… 😂🤷🏻‍♀️

Running an inverter to convert DC into AC just so that your wall wart can convert it back to DC is wasteful.
There are outlets that you can wire into 12 or 24 VDC systems that will deliver USB-C and USB-PD power with much less loss than running an inverter.
Every chargeable device I have can be charged from USB-C or USB-PD, except my laptop.
My laptop I can charge from a 12V-19V buck converter.

If amercans would ever slow down or stop to randomly buy stuff and consume as they are it will make the country collapse.
