‣‣Despite having an intense fear of the ocean, 17 year old Finn Lake suddenly develops the ability to control water. Now it's all a matter of sink or swim. Updates tuesdays every week.
It's crazy how much things can change in just a weekend. The email came out on friday morning and as I'm uploading this now on tuesday, pretty much everyone on campus has evacuated (including my roommate Lauren :( I miss her)
It's gonna be a rough two months but! I've found a friend who I'm sharing a 15 west double suite with so I think I'm going to be okay. Keep an eye out for more COVID19 RISD Vlog updates because now that I have more time on hand, I don't have an excuse to not make them anymore LOL.
I'm currently living out of two suitcases with only my bedding and various hygiene and art supplies out... wow, it's just really weird.
If anyone needs any support/help, feel free to reach out to me on my social media links below. I'm happy to help (and also happy to rant about COVID19 and its effects lmao). Any college students, have your institutions also shut down, and if they did, how are you dealing with it?

When I watched this, the first time, I found it heart breaking. I felt so sorry that you had to pack up and go home. Fifty years ago I was getting ready to begin my Senior year at R.I.S.D. and was on my way to Rome.
The School informed us that there was a cholera epidemic in Italy and for a while I thought we would be prevented from going. But, fortunately for us, we were able to just go to the doctor and get a vaccination. It has been a long year, and I hope you will be able to continue your years at R.I.S.D.

Hey, I know this a little out of nowhere in the midst of all of this, I'm so sorry that the outbreak has hit you so hard I'm hoping the other aspects of your life can keep going on as normal.
Welp here it is. You've really inspired me to make the push towards my art (RISD specifically). I've always known I wanted to go into art and with all this extra time without school, I fell down the rabbit hole of RISD portfolios and eventually stumbled across your channel. Seeing your art and storytelling reminds me so much of the way I approach things and you've given me hope that it will be appreciated one day if I just work hard enough to get there. Thank you for documenting your art journey it's really touched me (and I'm sure it's touched many other people too), and thank you for all of the amazing artwork that you've added to the internet world :)
Ugh, yeah this whole thing is a disaster. Please keep yourself safe ^ all our schools are closed as well, and people are just going nuts. Really frustrating since we can't control it.

Did RISD offer scholarships for international students

I guess is more of a “hell no” situation than a “hell yeah” situation.
