- Training acro can result into throwing your rescue, and my number 15 was one hell of a rescue, but fortunately it was a pretty safe one since I was super high and had all the time I needed in order not to be scarred.
Remember that there are no shame in throwing your rescue and at failing.

That shoe! As soon as a saw the reserve deployment and knew you were ok, I had to go back and make sure it was a shoe that I saw! Adds a little laugh to an otherwise scary situation! Glad you are well!

we are happy to see that #15 worked as well as #1-14. Still, we would prefer if you get along without anymore reserve deployments (even thoug we know it is unlikely).

It would be cool to see Theo do Acro tricks on the Ion, Mentor & Sector. Are they any good for freestyle? (Within the certified weight range). I'd love to see (rythmic?) SAT, Loop, Misty & Heli with those gliders.

3 to 4 seconds. (this is Theo's idea of "all the time in the world") : ) Well done. Do you carry two reserve chutes? Did you find your shoe?
Yes he does. For acro you have to carry 2, some pilots even carry 3 reserves.
But hey, you landed on the beach -- can't get any better than that.

ça serait pas une bonne idée de mettre la gopro sur scratch pour ces cas là ?
Non pas forcément car l'adhésif gopro n'est pas très puissant donc si un suspente ce prend vraiment dedans la gopro saute (ça m'est déjà arrivé) et c'est pour ça que je ne l'assure pas, comme ca je suis sur que je ne me fais pas étrangler.

every paragliding trainer I have met since I installed a gopro on my helmet told me to remove it because it is dangerous in case that the lines get trapped, and thus I did remove it from the helmet and put it on the knee and on the front container
Though I agree with the added risk, I have a hunch that wouldn't have changed the outcome much in this case... he went through the wing
Actually putting the gopro on a helmet is not a bad thing as soon as you don't secure it with a line. The sticker of the gopro will just be pulled off if a line catches it. I speak from experience. Therefore it's not dangerous but you have to accept to loose a gopro if it happens.
And yes in this case it would not matter my body was in the lines not the gopro :)
@@theoflies Planning on putting a Insta360-cam on a stick between my legs, sometimes in one of my hands. I have to secure it with a line though. Is this a no-go? How should I do it?
That's not a "rescue". It's a recovery.
