I think smoking cigarettes was the least of jimbo’s worries, the bottles of whiskey, cocaine and possibly heroin were the substances that may have had a bit of influence in his eventual end
Not a great performance....I was there. Morrison was disinterested, and you can see that in the video. No audience connection. I was a HUGE Doors fan, but the opening act, Craooy Appleton was much better.
Sorry to burst your forgotten memory. But the footage you're seeing in this video is NOT from the Bakersfield performance. It's from Isle of Wight. As for audience connection? Well, that was your experience. The entire recording (or what there is of it) shows Jim to be fairly inspired, actually. He sings with gusto, delivers a poem (Old Stone Road) and the band produce an inspired version of The End. Maybe not the best performance of The Doors career, and not certainly not for Jim, BUT for 1970, it's a good performance by the band and Jim. So, take your Appleton and you know what you can do with it!
I listen them everyday❤
Amazing. The Doors are the greatest band of all time. RIP geniuses Jim and Ray.

The video footage is from Isle of Wight 1970....
You are correct. There are a lot of so-called Doors fans who are clueless about Jim, the band, and their history.
Adriano DEMARCHI THE DOORS SEMPRE.
This Version is good. But it is shorter than the Bakersfield 2023 Album
This isn’t from San Diego. Seattle.

Jim Morrison=Luca Prodan
3:00 Jim shouldn't have been puffing on that killer tobacco maybe he might be here with us eh? Should have just stuck to grass
Think if heroin wasn't introduced to him he'd still be here
I think smoking cigarettes was the least of jimbo’s worries, the bottles of whiskey, cocaine and possibly heroin were the substances that may have had a bit of influence in his eventual end

Fucking liar
@gariraegray6752 . This song is not from San Diego. The song is from Bakersfield and the footage is from the Isle Of Wight Festival 1970
I love the Doors, but they made this great song sound tedious and boring.
i will agree with you there! I love the Doors but Elvis did this song way better without a doubt
@@Bigger-Than-Jesus I`m sure band just jamming, they never rehearsed the song.
