3:04 i love watching these clips and seeing how many times people (usually lex) just face away from the person they're talking to while they're talking. like can you imagine having a chat with your bff and they randomly walk over to face the fucking wall in the middle of the conversation?
This is Luthor when he still had hope. He wants friendship, connection, trust. The things he can't get from his distant, manipulative father. Unfortunately, Clark's, Martha's, and Jonathan's decision not to let Lex into their circle of trust (however merited that might have been) was corrosive to that one tiny chance Lex had to turn out a better person. He had so much invested in the idea of a special trust and connection between him and Clark that finding being constantly lied to just shattered him. He's arguably the smartest human being on the planet. The only thing keeping him from concluding that Clark Kent was an alien with super powers was his emotional investment in the idea that Clark wouldn't lie to him about that. Having that faith proven false was a tragic turning point for this version of Lex Luthor.
Might be a small thing, but I love how every episode (Except "Absolute Justice") was named with one-word titles. It's a tiny detail overall, but I really liked it!
@@Nutachi19 - Yep, that was in season 10, episode "Luthor"... where Clark gets teleported to Earth-2. Years later, *The Flash* would also explore Earth-2 in seasons 2 & 3, and much later, Oliver Queen would also travel there in *Arrow* season 8...
A yup, as Ethan speak about Smallville. To The cw with, the farm boy Clark Kent Is just only, citizen in Smallville if not. By everyone don't know, all about him

He was nice at one time, a good friend to Clark. But he changed and became evil.
@@nkuniverse7856 Later in the series. Not at this point.
I wish I had a friend like lex. A real homie

Technically that was also a one word episode.
The episode is two parts, the first one is Absolute and the second one is Justice.
It's a nice detail
Clark and Lex are HomeBoyz
3:20 little did he knew.
If Clark had trusted Lex maybe he wouldn't have turned out to be a villain.
They should have made an alternate reality episodes where Clark trust Lex. Curious to know how they would have turned it.
He would have been batman. You know, super rich friend....
@@macrofage1551 there is an alternate reality episodes where Clark is raised by the luthors

It would have just shifted to another person. Probably worse than Lex. Remember the balance between good n evil must be kept in check
Me encanta cuando lo ayuda hacer el mono💗
