    工場や厨房の製造過程を見るのが好きで、よくその手の動画を試聴しています。
    たくさんの精密機械と人の力で、鉄屑が綺麗なマンホールに生まれ変わるのですね😊
    一つ一つ手作業で絵付けをして、しかも深い溝にインクを流し込んでいくのが意外でした。
    この製造工程の中で、一番やってみたい作業です。
    最後の水圧の実験も圧巻でした。
    使うために作るのですが、せっかく綺麗に仕上がったマンホールを下水道の蓋にするは勿体ないですね💦
    貴重な映像を見せていただいて、ありがとうございました😊

    마지막 테스트 장면이 인상깊네요. 높은 수압에도 터지지 않는 맨홀. 작년 여름에 엄청난 폭우로 물에 잠긴 도로를 걷던 남매가 맨홀 뚜껑이 날아가서 없어진 맨홀 구멍에 빠져 사망한 사건이 있었습니다. 이런 맨홀 뚜껑이 있었다면 그런 사고는 막을 수 있었을텐데 아쉽네요.

    That’s very smart of having a locking mechanism so that in case of electrical explosion or high water pressure the manhole cover won’t go flying in the air and hurt someone or cause more damage. Here in the US those covers do fly when electrical explosions happens.

      @@ShortArmOfGod I think the original comment had more to do with quality of work and quality of product than racial stereotypes. Just like German engineering is actually good because Germans do have good engineering. Is that racial? No. It's a fact.

    • @nickj2508
      @nickj2508 Год назад +5

      @@ShortArmOfGod I mean it in a positive way. I have been to various places in Japan. Taking care is fundamental to their culture as ones work has put meaning into the outcome. And FYI casting normally have a "draft angle" anyway to get the mold out of the sand. The chamfer would have been good enough in cast form. I don't think they machined all of the covers that way, only certain hi end ones.

      I believe that the temperament, sensibility, collective consciousness, morale, and interpretation of the people of a country have a great deal to do with the degree of accomplishment and the quality of the products and services. In particular, it is important to continue to carry things out without cutting corners and without compromise. Are we satisfied when we are only halfway done, or are we striving for even higher goals? The difference is huge. This is obvious when we look objectively at the high quality and admirably good results in various fields in other countries.

    When I was a younger man I first worked in many jobs, then I found myself in a foundry, this was in Bolton, Lancashire. I loved the job, it was all hand castings, it was hot and heavy work. The one thing I did not notice was the strength I was building up in my body, until one day I handed my brother an old cast heater. I held it out as if it was nothing too heavy, when he took it from me, he was pulled over by the weight of it. Before then, I just had not noticed the change in my body. I suppose lifting a few ton of casting for 8 hours can build you up better than a gym a few times a week. Looking at this brings back thoughts of my friends in that bit of hell. The area was a red-light district, and the girls would get warm from the cooling castings. I then went on to a rubber factory, in Rochdale, again happy memories.
