I don’t think I’ll ever afford buying new Japanese prints textile but I will definitely look for the alternatives in thrift stores. Such great process of printing that I never understand. Seems very complicated and hard. Makes me to question why we value the mass production cheap prints instead of traditional Japanese prints
I dont understand the process even after seeing the video.... but it looks very rustic and traditional. Does this method keeps the colours in forever without fading much?
Tenugui are multi purpose cloths. You can use them as hand towels, something to wipe off sweat, tie it into a makeshift pouch if needed, and so on. They dry quickly, especially because they aren't hemmed.
Very rustic methods, but beautiful results. Such care goes into every step. Great information!
The cat fabric is so cute! 😻
Amazing, unique textile printing process.
Would've been nice to see what this fabric is used for. 👍👍
Tea towels, apparently.
Tengui, a scarf tied around the head ( sorta like a wider sweat band). I wore them when I was a Ramen cook
Very beautiful. Great craftsmanship! The equipment for rinsing the dye looks a bit dangerous though. I hope they all stay safe!!! Loved the video!
Thanks for the video. I always enjoy seeing new processes that I have never imagined..!
What an intense and complicated process! Thank you for showing us.
Amazing process and skilled workers with an eye to details. Fantastic.
Very interesting but captions would have helped
I really enjoyed watching this. Amazing 😀

Its probably just a traditional dyeing technique
If you asked Japanese high school kids to work at this factory for a couple of days instead of going to school, all of them would say “Yes”.
Hermoso trabajo muy respetable❤

I love the japanese respect for quality.❤
Fabulous 👌 THANKS for sharing this video
What is the cloth that is dyed?
So, what are they used for? Napkins?
Exquisite! Is this used for clothing or for other purposes too?

So what are the small pieces used for?
Japanese tenugui are used like towels and handkerchiefs. Tenugui has a beautiful pattern, so some people decorate it like a tapestry.
Y para que usan estás telas ? ...y las cortan tan pequeñas??😂😅
Incredible.
Technique ancestrale. Usine aussi ...
This is wonderful for those who already know what's going on & don't actually need explanation 🙄
Wow!
Yasashi Desu! Sama Desu!
👍👍👍
@@Odakaz
