Another great video! Thanks for taking the time to give everyone an in depth review of how the weighted LC works. I’ll be tossing some this weekend, FINALLY!!! Haven’t hit the sand in over two months! 😎🤙🏽🤙🏽
Subbed. Thanks for the time it took to make this video. I'll definitely mod several of my lc110. Being and engineer, I look forward to the ingenuity fellow fisherman modifying lures to serve a purpose. Great job!👍🏼
Thank you for the support Greg, it truly means a lot. I do think this is an option all lc users should at least consider. Would love to hear how u do with this once you get it set up. Thanks again! 👍
Thanks for watching and the support! Just to clarify, this mod is a diy that you’ll need to do yourself with storm suspenstrips. The how to video link is in the vid description if you’re interested. Thanks again for watching! 🤙
Thanks Ilya, appreciate you so much bro. I will say that it’s a bit tricky to get the proper sink from the surf...depending on the conditions and beach of course. The time I got bit on the drop I was fishing a channel where the current and water was a bit more forgiving. You’re already dialed in and killing it so keep doing what you’re doing brotha. Even just the simple switch to the 115 given your fishing location is so smart and critical for the results you’ve had. Good stuff! 🤙
I add storm suspenstrips (lead strips) to the bottom (4-3-2 is the formula). The how to video is linked in the video description if ur interested in trying it out. Thanks for watching and let me know if u have any other questions!
Benjie, great video. How are you working the rod and reel to make the lures work the way you do? This would help me understand how to make different movements when I’m fishing. Any ideas to show both underwater and how you are doing what you’re doing to make it dance? It might help plenty of anglers catch more fish. Great video! Full attention here.
Thanks Acel! Great suggestion on actually showing the rod movements, I didn’t consider that but will def remember for next time. For the darting/diving action I was just doing upward rod twitches and downward rod jerks/sweeps to get the action on the bottom. Hope that makes sense. Looking forward to fishing with you again brotha!
I have not. Stripers are fairly rare in SoCal. I’d love to see how it fairs up north. I feel like it would provide an immediate advantage from the regular 110 based on increased casting distance alone.
Thanks Brent! Can’t take very much credit for this tho, the real mvp is William, as well as many freshwater fisherman who have been modding jerk baits since the 90’s. It is def a pretty cool option for the 110 tho!
Looks to heavy. Maybe cut the strips in half or just right so it suspends in the water instead of sinking like a ship. You can see on your footage once its on the bottom your jiggin just dives it into the bottom. Also, the swim action looks off with moderate roll. Cut the strips in half and redo the test maybe you'll get a better result.
Thank you for the feedback 🤙. This mod is designed to sink at 6 ips and dive nose down on the bottom w/ corresponding rod twitches. Might not be everyone’s cup of tea and that’s totally cool. Great observation on the rolling, I personally like it but def need to put some more time on the water with it to gauge results. My buddy has actually been using a heavier version of this mod and has caught multiple legal Hali, including a 30”. Thanks again for taking the time to provide feedback, I appreciate the perspective and will consider your suggestions.

LETS GO BABY!! Make it happen brotha. Can we fish together soon??
Great video Benjie!! I like the different vantage point you used as well as the flashbacks to the 3 fish you caught specifically with it!!
Thanks for watching and the constant support Derick! Hope ur doing well neighbor! 🤙🤙🤙

Thank you, I saw ur posting vids again!!! Yessss! I had a question for ya on your recent vid, I’ll ask it on there soon!
Keep those videos pumping out my friend!!
Hi Benjie. Could the lack of a middle treble be causing more "roll" in the modified LC?
Just purchased the weights for the modifications thanks CSF
Definitely a good option for the LC, let me know any success stories!
Great video benjie! The underwater water footed was awesome!
Thanks Adam, I appreciate you man!
Woooow!!! Didn't even know they had a modified!!! Can't wait to pick some up, thanks for video brotha!!!

This is a genius modification.
Thanks Ryan! All credit goes to my friend William who was nice enough to teach this to me so I can share with y’all!
Another great video, never thought you could just let it drop to the bottom and get bites like that!

I am new to this, can you tell me what you do to the modified version? Thanks.

Can you please make a video or show the technique, your style of jerking the rod to show how you move that lure in the water?
Sure I can work on that. Thank you for the suggestion.

Have you ever caught stripers with this modified lure?

Revolutionary!!

Isn’t that what a 115 does?
