We stayed at Hacienda Tijax in Rio Dulce and then had a private boat tour across Lake Izabal to Livingston...but you can ask the hotel about a group boat ride over to Livingston or google it beforehand...we met Philip Flores of the Garifuna community in the main street looking at market stands...he invited us to come see his community...
