APC originally creeped me out so bad. I was 18 in my studio apartment listening to them in the dark. I had never been scared of music before but it was so hauntinly beautiful that I couldn't stop listening to it
I couldnt understand y ppl would listen to the album because "haunting" is the perfect word. But I always came back to this album and think it's a masterpiece
The beautiful thing about this song is that it applies on every level of existence, it's a metaphor for everything from death to the passage of the universe from order to disorder.
Can relate to disappearing physically and mentally and having people express faux concern over it and it's sickening I'm structurally equipped to rebuild my version of what others perceive it's all pointless ego centric performance
Supposedly some drugs can make a person thinner with the right control and substance. Just don't loose too much that will make a person disappear though.
