You will actually see it a lot in AW1 mode. They renamed Eagle’s AW1 power as Lightning Drive, making the name Lightning Strike exclusive to his AW2 Super power. Presumably this was to keep things consistent with regard to the power activation animation. Everyone else returning from AW1 (except Sturm) got a new Super, whereas Eagle got a new Normal instead. Seeing as Reboot Camp uses these new animations for CO Powers, my guess is that it made more sense to them to save the fancier animation for AW2 Lightning Strike, and swap the names around instead. ----- TL;DR, Eagle’s AW1 power is now named Lightning Drive, so you’ll hear him say that a lot if you play in that style.
@@MisterFiasco I love how Adder was reimagined from 'creepy snakelike fake-mastermind pedo' to 'Hot Topic edgelord'. It makes the generational warfare aspect of their one-sided rivalry more profound.

4:10 considering how dang *cool* Clone Andy’s power animation is, I’m sad that he doesn’t have a Super in AW2 style (even though they could have just given him Andy’s stats and Super). He could’ve been a neat reskin to play as when picking Andy. But without Hyper Upgrade? Granted, he does have the ATK boost that Andy lost in the transition, but that doesn’t seem like enough to put him on par with AW2 Andy and his Hyper Upgrade.
As much as I love ProZD's voice acting. I feel his voice doesn't fit Eagle very well. When I heard it for the first time it was very jarring, and since learning that he was doing the voice now I can only see his face whenever Eagle speaks. Contrast that with Flak, who I didn't realize was also voiced by ProZD but it fits so well that I can actually believe that voice coming from Flak.
Also his selection phrases "Let's sort" and "Alright" fits him. Sort or more precisely Sortie is a word used on aircraft personel (comonly tower control operatoe to pilots), mainly military, and means one or many aircraft have to take off, "Let's Sort" is in fact "Let's Sortie", meaning a group of pilots have to take off, so in this case Eagle is inviting you to use him. "Alright" that shortly is also a response, like an in-flight pilot receiving orders, so Eagle was receiving the order by us to enter combat.

Wolfe, a young green earth CO with an energetic attitude, often pushing Eagle and Jess into arguments just for enjoyment. He is often seen riding his horse and brandishing his sword and lance like a medieval knight. Wolfe's direct combat units have decreased firepower when stationary or counter attacking, but gain increased firepower based on the tiles they moved when attacking. One cutscene shows black hole cannons firing at the allied forced, but are surprised by a flanking charge of Neotanks led by Wolfe.
Poor Andy, military leader of Orange Star and of countless of lives is made to sound like a prepubescent 12 year old boy. Plus even after 20 years he still doesn't know what an airport is!
Hearing this game finally being voice acted, i realized that i also got some of the name pronunciations wrong. Granted i played AW2 when i was a small child, so i also just read some of the names wrong or gave different names to the characters. Kanbei’s name being one of them.
I gotta admit, while some of these voice actors are good choices, the voice direction is not. Like, Cristina Vee is a talented voice actress, but she dropped the ball here as a director. For example, Sarah Williams is a perfect choice for Lash, but the voice she actually gives her doesn't fit her manic child-like behavior. And Veronica Taylor is perfect casting for Andy, but I feel the voice itself lacks the Monkey D. Luffy-like naïveity and loudmouthness he displays in his dialogue. And voices like Arin Hanson as Max and Sean Chiplock as Hachi? No, just....no. Regardless, almost none of these are just NOT the voices I heard as a kid playing these games.
Im sorry, the game did such a good job of showing different themes in the soilders, Orange star - Americans, Blue Moon - Russian, Green Earth - German and Yellow Comet - Japanese, then they utterly fail to stay true to it and lose all flavour with 100% American voices, typical tasteless and cheap. I can imagine that ProZD had fun voicing Flak, he sounds like a fun character to voice.
I feel he had some fun with Eagle, but I just hear him trying to talk about King Dragon or something. I do like his voice for Flak a lot too.
For some reason I expected Flak to say It's clobbering time

Hated the part where Flak said 'it's Flakking time' and proceeded to flak all over my Neotanks with his Infantry.
