A good portion of the little noises you hear are the babies crying. It’s cute but every time I hear it I just want to board an airplane for Borneo and get some cuddle time.
I love it when she makes that WOW! facial expression. Hanging from those overhead climbing straps all by herself? WOW! Meeting a new and larger version of herself? WOW! Climbing up to the top of her indoor gym? WOW! I think all things considered, she looks like she's doing ok here, but I'd really like to see how she's doing now. Something to Google a little later on. There was another tiny one named Budi who was in a really, really bad way, but he grew up good and strong and overcame what I thought would be an almost certain death, but I saw him in a progression video over several years and he was almost unrecognizable from when he was first rescued.
I know sometimes in the wild. But mostly when in prison as a pet (abused -wrong food), they catch skin diseases. Maybe their treating a skin disorder. ???
Rickina is so so adorable, with that innocent lil face. I wish I was the one to get to hold her. She is so precious, they all are. If I was young again I would want to go there and help out. If I had money now I would give. These lil guys need people to care and make a difference. Before I die, I want to just hold a baby. They are so important.
These orphans are so little they have to be taught how to grip onto things and learn to climb. They are blessed to have loving, caring rescuers. May they one day see freedom.❤

OMG, RICKINA IS SOOO ADORABLE. Her expressions had me cracking up. She seems to only have one reaction to being outside and seeing the sights and other babies - "WHOA! MIND. BLOWN." Everywhere she looks she sees something absolutely astonishing and amazing! So cute!!!

where are the mothers, they look too young to be separated. I love the orangutans and gorillas, they take care of their babies even the fathers better than I see humans do.
Whoever posted this video of a frightened and traumatized orangutan baby in the animal rescue, at it's first terrified attempt to climb as well as sozialize, clearly didn't understand that the baby is crying out in fear and for help, as well as its caretaker.
