mesmerising. Hypnotic. Wonderful I swear this is the only advert that sends me into a trance every single time I watch it.
Best commercial ever, such a talented team and great concept
The dog standing watching the balls and the frog leaping out of the pipe complete this commercial
Yes, indeed. Plus the cat in the "Lost" posters who's probably started chasing a single bouncy super-ball, and became a legend..!
i d love to be there while it was being made. My God..absolutely awesome! for me its the best commercial ever. no other gave me so much emotions!
Wow 14 years ago u left that comment, and here I am thinking the same as you 🇳🇿✌️✌️✌️✌️✌️✌️
This will always be one of the best commercials with amazing music on it! ++
My wee son just loves this - we must watch it at least once a week. Love the soundtrack too
I hope your son is safe in these tough times
This commercial I will remember forever! So amazing
"Every time i watch it...it puts me in a nicer place."
i'd just run down the street screaming, "BALLS!! everyone run!!"
my favourite advert i think i had my mouth open dribbling at the end of it...AMAZING
This really deserves to be seen in HD.
Im glad i finally found this advert on here,
i remember when i first saw it,
I have always been a fan of sony products having got all of their consoles out at the moment and knowing how good their TV's etc are but this advert is just something differrent to all adverts ive seen, the song fits it perfectly, its just relaxing to watch and it just looks good with all the bright colours, the slow motion makes it look even better and the scene with the frog is great :)
My 2 year old son requests this video when he sees me sit down at the computer. We love it!
it just... isn't the same when you're forced to watch on 240p....
I agree. Was uploaded long ago when RUclips was low res. And I've lost the original
Sinan K Damn I thought You Tube was 1080p in 2007
That was so funny! Though I came here for the music, but that was so funny because of course this commertial was selling the glorious HD. Good old days...
Pixels...like no other.
This is my most favourite commercial ever (except of the Budweiser commercials with Clydesdale horses) and I was pleased to see the making of it, good job!
what a beautiful fact/ gift that we can see the colours!
this commercial won on pub international festival cannes on 2006, and its my favourite
hey
I wonder how someone thinks of this. "Lets shoot 250,000 bouncy balls out of a cannon in San Fransisco and make it into a commercial. It makes perfect sense!"
I loved this advert
I love this advert so much - so happy I have found it :)
Thanks for this, the advert & making of all in one ...It's perfect for my Business Studies class and I'm gonna use it when I teach them marketing/ advertising.
It will blow them away ! Thanks again.
How’d the class go?
this film is so beautiful, the music fits so well with the video, theres something natural about it and thats what makes it so amazing. the only downside to it is that its for commercial gain, it would have been perfect if it wasnt advertising a TV
Always liked that. Beautiful music.
i always thought this one was done virtually/digitally. good effort.
This is truly a beautiful ad, I wish it wasn't just an ad for a TV.
That... that was brilliant
lol look at the frog , i think this vid is amazing how they did it
You just wouldn't be allowed to do that in the UK. How did they get permission?! Always assumed it was CG. Love the fact they really did it.
"Heartbeats" of José Gonzalez
The Knife.
I think this commercial is awesome. I love it!
such a simple idea but sooo effective
gr8 job,gr8 visualization,and gr8 way of implimentaion.
it's really intresting work for camera traking, vfx and composting.
The video is so beautiful and tranquil and you wish you were there watching this... and then you watch the actual making of with car alarms and people taking shelter and running for their lives and it kills it. The dream is dead.
just did this---- it was an awesome fit great suggestion!!!
I friggin
Very nice song!
The last thing on my mind when I see this is buying a TV.
wow! thank you!
i used to work in a tv store.
i remember getting to watch this in HD on the big 53" sony's .. it was amazing.
but even though it was good, i took the tv and played it on a panasonic one day.. and it was better in my opinion :)
panisonic viera FTW
although, that new sony 200Hz tv looks very impressive.
sony FTW
Thought that it was made in a studio, I'm really surprised.. and everything had to be shot at one approach.
Almost forgot- brilliant music
I think it's funny that the ad portrays serenity and peacefulness of the balls coming down the hill in super slow motion, when the reality is they came pummeling down the hill, with a noise like thunder, setting car alarms off and everyone needed protective gear to stop getting injured! Quite the opposite of peaceful!
I love this advert! ;)
Colour like no other... in four pixels.
what happened, adverts like these used to make my day :D
thank you.
you rock.
its art and expression.
they dont get it
@zedoc76 indeed the knife is freaking awesome
the irony of having to sit through an ad while waiting to watch an ad...
awesome
song is perfect :)
@LaughingOutKraut Yeah but the effect of it is when in the future you go into a store and buy a tv and see sony you'll remember this particular ad.
Beautiful commercial! And now 50,000 lost bouncy balls have landed up in the Great Pacific Garbage Patch...
I just ADORE this ad, one of the best of the best... And the guy at 6:46 hahah
I just thought about this ad randomly and had a strange urge to hear what sound all the balls made coming down the street. It was satisfying.
this is so calming me fucking down.
I just heard this song and it reminded me of this exact commercial!!!! Such a magnificent commercial, really.. Does anybody know if this add is from '07, I just feel as if it's older!!
Hi, I've just seen yesterday The Secret Life of Walter Mitty from Ben Stiller. Two beautiful songs there are from the argentine José González, who sings this one. If you look at Wikipedia (Español version at least), this 2005 commercial was of the best at 2005. Regards, JP
Ahhh memories...
This song could put any hyper child to sleep x3
I love it ;)
so nice=)
My father always says:
Buy what you need or you really looking for..Stop replace for things like "Full & Cheap"...
An blu-Ray + Bravia says it all!!!
Coś pięknego :D
Im buying that tv.
Filmed in October 2005 for 2006 Sony Bravia TVs
thanks, fixed.
My dog would go crazy!!!
man this commercial makes me wish I was at the bottom of that hill in body armor running up, trying to withstand the oncoming torrents of bouncy balls
@RobertSuchy It's the intro song for On Point, a NPR radio show.
Thats why we choose Sony!
i love this part with frog
that is amaaaazing:O:O:O:O
I took a drink every time they mentioned that Sony has colour "like no other", and now I can't remember what country I'm in...
Holy shi-. They didn't use CG? Awesome! Advertising at it's best.
LOL It fits PERFECT!
250 000 balls. And that is like the best song ever
this is San-Francisco... great
my cat loved to watch this commercial...
I'm here because Adam Savage just talked about this commercial
Bouncy balls have to go downstairs.
7.43: check the fps!! it was shot on 125 frames per second, if you run that scene on normal speed (30fps) you perceive it at one third of speed, that is the real magic of this ad, the slow motion, otherwise it wouldnt be so amazing...
Still watching in 2018 😂✌
I just click on this to find out if the balls were real. They are.
i Love Sony
12 people have had their bouncy balls stolen befor this advert was made
that was my thought too...
impossibru...
*watch again*
shit!!!! who left the lens cap on lol
It's so much scarier in real time
i would buy a Sony Bravia just to watch this in better quality
I love bouncy balls i have a collection xD
i like the bit with the balls
@UKTuTS I liked the part when you jumped out of the pipe.
throw 200,000 bouncy balls down my street please :D i want to make art out of them.. + i always lose seperate high-bounce balls. i find this a talented idea turned into life and i love it. :D
I think the acoustic version works well with the style of the advert though
good for u.
Frog: Oooh ball! another! another?! WHAT THE SHIT IS THIS!??!!! AAAAHHHHH!
I wonder how many takes it took for kermit 7:00 to get his take right :-)
only 1
@Karolinka221 Nope, I don't think so. I remembered the ad when I saw it again on RUclips, but I forgot what it was advertising for.
@ 6:46 - Err, every Wednesday, at 3pm!
moja ulubiona reklama
Would hurt, but would be fantastic :)
they should show the aftermath
I heard (and risk if it's true) but sony had to pay out thousands and thousands in car damage alone lol if you hear different lemme know!
