The lockbox at 4:13 is a bomb: a tight metal case filled with explosive. Far better to use a lockbox that has some sort of pressure relief mechanism.

Fun fact: powder storage is subject to supervision by the local authorities, the local ATF equivalent can make rules and regulations as to what it considers proper storage.
Some county clerk may make a ruling that says black powder has to be stored in a safe, because they know more about bureaucracy than the explosive characteristics of black powder, while one town over it's perfectly fine to store it in a wooden box or a thin sheet metal locker with pressure relief cuts to avoid detonation.

@@bertbertmann5823I’ll take your word for it because I don’t know the law where this video was taken. That said, if I were faced with a law requiring me to keep explosives in a steel safe, I’d do almost anything to find a way not to do that. Laws are important but the physics and chemistry of bomb making are one thing that outranks the law.

@@twestgard2i was talking about german laws, on closer inspection of the video, it was made in austria where the only regulation is that you can't store more than 10kg black powder in your house, you can't store it with other explosives and you can't store it in common rooms. The rest is up to you, making the safe all the more stupid.
