Many great songs by the Scorpions. They have 19 studio albums in their long career. Just a few to check out are Lovedrive, Holiday, Blackout, No One Like You, Arizona, and Loving You Sunday Morning, Still Loving You.
Such a classic! The Scorpions deserve more shout outs then they are recognized for. The voice and guitar are near perfection! The whole song is filled with double meaning. 😉
This is a killer song, from 1984, recorded in Cologne Germany, with 32 digital track console. Was voted in the VH 1 Channel as the best metal songs ever, reaching the hottest top 10 chart, back in 2005/2006. Great song, the guitar riff, so powerful. Great reaction, fellas.
The first time I saw Scorpions live was the first time I heard a voice that cannot be adequately captured on recording media. It was so amazing. The only other voice I've heard like it was Jewel.
You definitely need to watch the music video. It takes the song to another level! What strikes me most about this song is how tough (enter your word here) the lyrics are. Being young when this came out, I didn’t necessarily delve deeply into the words. I was a guitar player who loved the musical aspects of a song. Lyrics weren’t as readily available as they are now. You basically had to buy the LP.
I really enjoy watching your education into the Hippy, Hair bands, rock, pop genres of the generations...I think you've noticed that a lot of recent (last 2 decades) music sampled so many of the older songs...music is truly the language of the people no matter what generation or genre you are listening to. It's one of the big things we ALL have in common no matter color, age, gender identity, religion or political views that we have in common...music that hits us a certain way...speaks to us...gets us in our feels!
Fun time 80’s !! When music was phenomenal and having a great time every weekend was a blast !! I went to high school w the drummer Kottak who joined the band later!! The Scorpions were 🔥!!
The "Scorpions" one of my favs, seen them live in the 80's on the "Love Drive" Tour and they opened the show, it was " Scorpions" " Pat Travers" and " Sammy Hagar" what a show, but what sucks is the "Scorpions don't tour anymore and they are a Killer live band in concert, so from what i here is they only play shows in LAS VEGAS, so you will not be sorry, if you saw them before they retire!
Picture this...You are sitting at the PNC Arena in Raleigh,NC. The lights go dim and someone sounds a storm siren. This song starts blaring over the loud speakers. Out comes the Carolina Hurricanes hockey team skating on the ice. The roar of the crowd is as loud as the music. Love this song and everytime I hear it I can't wait to have that amazing experience again. Thanks for the great reaction to one of my favorite songs.
Oh yes , love these guys! Guitars are on point❤️🎶🎶❤️watch them live 1984- I saw that tour in DC. Those guys are unbelievable live with their technical prowess.❤️
You should listen the scorpions song " Still loving you " one of the best power ballads ever written. they still tour , you should see them live if possible as they are great.
You two are awesome. I was student at Arizona State University back in 1985, saw Scorpions in the desert was a really hot dude. We reconnected 30 years later, remained friends since. Glad you enjoyed this Classic.
Scorpions are great. Hard sound but satisfying. As someone once said, we didn't always have access to the words. The musical arrangements for some songs took precedence.
Fun Fact: The composition done by the lead guitar player, Matthias Jabs, at that time, was very complex and many guitar players tried to do the solo, but couldn't. Of course, nowadays, guitar playing is so advanced, that it's no longer a problem playing it. Jump into more of their stuff of course as Scorpions were once upon a time, an incredible band to watch LIVE.
Klaus Meine has a very distinct voice..And the guitarist Michael Shenker was a very influental player of that era. Look for his instrumental called "Captain Nemo" it will be under his name.
This is one of the first songs I learned how to play on guitar. Sadly though, I was not playing a Gibson Explorer or Flying V (which is what these guys are playing). No... I was playing a sad old Korean generic electric guitar hooked up to dads Kenwood home stereo. Just not the same sound. LOL. Parents!! IF you expect your kids to enjoy learning instruments ... DONT BUY THEM CHEAP CRAP! Sorry.. I just re-lived a painful childhood memory. Im ok now.
"The Zoo" I'm all about great songs, but love ones that never get air time. Falling in Love, please, please do this song I guarantee you won't be disappointed. Animal Magnetism is a very funky slow song you might try too.
Love older Scorps. I think them translating words into English was kinda of funny. So their wording in English just sounds like a foreigner..it’s off but it’s so awesome because of of it. Lol. Idk. I’m trying to get my point across
I saw them live at The King Dome in Seattle, WA in the early 90’s. It was during ‘Monsters of Rock’ and Metallica were there as well. Somebody in the audience threw a camera at the singer and they stopped the concert. Total burn! I was in the back stage area and wanted to meet them but they left. Such a bummer!
This is my favorite from them yall! The best Apricot jam ever haha. This is from 1984 and they are from Germany. Obviously, giving her "inches" means sex. "Still Loving You" "Send Me An Angel" "Wind Of Change" "Always Somewhere" "Bed Of Roses" "She's Gone" "Livin' On Prayer" "(Everything I do) I Do It For You" "The Zoo" "Big City Nights" "I'm Leaving You" "Coming Home" "Tease Me Please Me" "Lonely Night" "When The Smoke Is Going Down" "Believe In Love" "You And I" Have fun! About 4 months ago, they released some new songs: "Rock Believer" "When You Know (Where You Come From)" and "Seventh Sun."
Lol, first song I ever learned to play...The rhythm is super simple, but hits hard. Just a classic. Not a bad cut on this LP either...it's a good-un. I've still got a silk tapestry of this album cover that you can hang on your wall lol.
Their 1st album came out in 1972 & their 1st guitarist (Michael Schenker) was 16 He's my favorite guitarists. He left to go to UFO (and that's when Uli Jon Roth joined Scorps) His brother is also in Scorpions, & he went back to help them with their Lovedrive album (you should hear Holiday) but then left again (that's when they kept this guitarist Matthias Jabs permanently). Anyway, he's 67 & on tour now & looks like he's having fun. He influenced so many guitarists (metallica, megadeath, pantera, randy rhoads, def leppard, and a ton others). UFO's Strangers In the Night is considered as one of the best (some say the best) live albums recorded. Give yourself about 10-12 minutes or so & listed to Rock Bottom from that album- no video, but he's amazing to watch on Lost Horizons live in 84. Michael Schenker Group is not meant for vocals, it's all just him. lol.
Back in the day I had a nice set up in my car. My radio was worth more than the car. I would play Scorpions as loud as possible. If your looking for some serious punch I recommend it.
Scorpions was a heavy band, a groupie band...many girls followed them to sleep with them...this song speaks from the point of view of a rock star to the girls who followed the band...groupie, I remember the Scorpions concert in Barcelona, at a time when having long hair and leather jackets was enough for the police to treat you like a criminal, getting to the stadium was an odyssey, fighting against the mounted police, riot police, running with your girl holding your hand, climbing to the roofs to escape and finally arrive and be amazed by the spectacle, the good vibes... and at the end, to face you again to the police...if you liked rock...well, you already knew, the police don't like rockers
Scorpions are super bad ass - saw them twice fortunately! They are one of the few rocking bands that puts out just as good ballads and I'm not so much for them however Holiday is one sweet tune! The Zoo is a vibe - hard but not fast
I enjoy your reactions so much. You should try Holiday by the Scorpions. They were so big in America despite being a German band singing in English. One of my favorite bands.
People give the 80s shit for being cheesy and simplistic but the writing was much better back then. Today groups and artists can say anything they want no matter how out there and direct it is. There's even a song by some female rapper I hear in the clubs I work where she literally talks about pisding on a dude. Back then artist had to constantly come up with new ways and different euphemisms to talk about sex acts and organs. That was much more difficult and took much more talent. "Give her inches and feed her well" is one of my favorite lyrics of all time.
BJ, you're sounding guitar curious... uh oh. This is where it starts. I can't recommend learning enough! There's so much instructional stuff on RUclips too!
People that has no idea about rock bothers me and you two remind me of that !...I am a veteran and proud of it ! What are you proud of ?...Yes i a am a very mad man and most are when they served in the military....Stop with the shit !!
The Scorpions did not miss on any of their songs in the 80’s. Even the deep cuts are amazing.
Many great songs by the Scorpions. They have 19 studio albums in their long career. Just a few to check out are Lovedrive, Holiday, Blackout, No One Like You, Arizona, and Loving You Sunday Morning, Still Loving You.
No one like you is my favorite.
My favorite band they.have so many great Hits.
Animal Magnetism is their best album and song. And The Zoo
Rhythm of Love is my favorite
Love the song skyrighter from scorpions
The drummer's daughter was in college with me in the early 90's in Kentucky. She had style that we did not recognize at the time. She was a cool kid!
"The Zoo" is my all time favorite song by them. The into is AWESOME. 🤘🐵🤘
Such a chunky riff
Still Loving You is my favorite by them.
Absolutely me too
It is a great song !!
Mine too
They sang in English but spoke german....saw them 3 times and were fantastic every time
Such a classic! The Scorpions deserve more shout outs then they are recognized for. The voice and guitar are near perfection! The whole song is filled with double meaning. 😉

Klaus’ voice is so good🎤🎸🎼 Check out more Scorpions 👍🏻✔️
Their cover of Can't Explain is pretty awesome. Saw them in concert two weeks ago and they are still awesome.
BJ's nativity towards The Scorpions' "raunch n' roll" is hilarious. ;)
Very

Asia & BJ, their "No One Like You" would be next for you!!
I saw the scorpions live in the 80s, one of the best performances ever. was mind blowing
His voice was so powerful, band is also amazing ⭐️

Oh dear! Im 56 and even i picked up on that. Love the reaction makes me feel
Absolutely filthy lyrics. Love it.
I love watching you guys cause you seem very authentic and into the music. I’d love to go to a rock concert with you guys!!!
If you haven't done so already, check out the Scorpions singing this while being accompanied by the Berlin Philharmonic. Awesome.
Best band to ever come out of Germany…
Second to Rammstein.
Oh yes , love these guys! Guitars are on point❤️🎶🎶❤️watch them live 1984- I saw that tour in DC. Those guys are unbelievable live with their technical prowess.❤️
Great band, love guitarist Matthias Jabs.
Remember the exact time and place I heard this in 1984. Going to see my girlfriend on her farm, good times!
Saw them in 2010 during their farewell tour in Las Vegas. Phenomenal
You should listen the scorpions song " Still loving you " one of the best power ballads ever written. they still tour , you should see them live if possible as they are great.
I was stationed in Italy when this came out. With my Alpine stereo cranked I thought I was going to blow the windows out of my car. Lol !
You two are awesome. I was student at Arizona State University back in 1985, saw Scorpions in the desert was a really hot dude. We reconnected 30 years later, remained friends since. Glad you enjoyed this Classic.
Y'all crack me up. This is another rabbit hole to delve into.
Scorpions are great. Hard sound but satisfying. As someone once said, we didn't always have access to the words. The musical arrangements for some songs took precedence.
Okay, now you need to check out, "The Rhythm of Love". Trust me. Enjoy. Take care. Peace & Love.
✌🏼♥️

I saw them, Van Halen, Dokken, Kingdom Come&Metallica in 1988 in K.C. Mo!! It was so freaking awesome 💯🤘
Klaus Meine has a very distinct voice..And the guitarist Michael Shenker was a very influental player of that era. Look for his instrumental called "Captain Nemo" it will be under his name.

They were great live, too.
The drums/cymbal hits sounding like pistons pumping. 💜☮️🤘
"The Zoo" I'm all about great songs, but love ones that never get air time. Falling in Love, please, please do this song I guarantee you won't be disappointed. Animal Magnetism is a very funky slow song you might try too.
Great fun to dance to back in the day when I was young.
Scorpions 🦂 is a late 70's band and has a big set list of hits. They're very big into ⚽
The “cat” and “wolf” are metaphors for their junk 😂
Love older Scorps. I think them translating words into English was kinda of funny. So their wording in English just sounds like a foreigner..it’s off but it’s so awesome because of of it. Lol. Idk. I’m trying to get my point across
Greatest band in the world!! Awesome, react a more songs for the Scorpions!!
This is the quintessential 1980's rock song. An absolute classic.
This is my favorite from them yall! The best Apricot jam ever haha. This is from 1984 and they are from Germany. Obviously, giving her "inches" means sex. Asia is killing me LOL.
That dirty song is playing on the radio everyday. I love it.

Mathias Jabs is very underrated guitarist.
Back in the day I had a nice set up in my car. My radio was worth more than the car. I would play Scorpions as loud as possible. If your looking for some serious punch I recommend it.
The guitarist for the Scorpions is one of the best ever as is their vocalist.

Scorpions are super bad ass - saw them twice fortunately! They are one of the few rocking bands that puts out just as good ballads and I'm not so much for them however Holiday is one sweet tune! The Zoo is a vibe - hard but not fast
The Zoo, Big City Nights, Blackout, No one like you, Bad boys running wild, I'm Leaving you, the list goes on..
Awesome song!
I enjoy your reactions so much. You should try Holiday by the Scorpions. They were so big in America despite being a German band singing in English. One of my favorite bands.
Big city nights , In trance , Don’t believe her , Rollin’ home
This is real rock
if you like guitar (solos) (just like Iron Maiden) listen to some songs of Sacred Gate. They only split up in 2016 but the music will be never gone!
They don't call it Sex, Drugs, and Rock n Roll for nothing...
People give the 80s shit for being cheesy and simplistic but the writing was much better back then. Today groups and artists can say anything they want no matter how out there and direct it is.
