My exposure to the Scorpions was 1982 while stationed at Aviano Air Force Base in Italy. I'm now 68 years old and still rocking out to them. The greatest rock band to ever come out of Germany.
@@quintondees4501 , I retired from the Air Force in 1992. I got to Germany a few times while at Aviano, once for Oktoberfest in Munich. And yes, the Scorpions were awesome.
My wife occasionally asks me what interests me so much about watching people react. This video is a perfect example of how I answer her every time. To see wonderful people like yourselves be introduced to the same music I ratted the streets to with my boys as teenagers is a joy that no words can express. Keep rocking! Keep loving! Keep sharing your experience with us....PLEASE!!! Thanks and stay blessed!
Literally just said something like this to my 14yo daughter when she asked 🤣 It’s the human experience. You want to know if others connect to the same/music you have and also what they think.
This was one of my goto bands back in high school...I would pop a cassette tape with the Scorpions and Def Leppard in, and ride my motorcycle through the mountains. It was a great time, I miss those 80's 👍👍
I'm going to see the Scorpions tomorrow in San Antonio. I first saw them on the Blackout Tour in '82... 40 years ago! This will be my 6th or 7th Scorps concert. This song is one of their encore songs on the current tour. They rocked the 80's for sure, but don't sleep on their new album, Rock Believer. Still amazing stuff for our German brothers!
Love this reaction. The way Asia always makes that little smile and looks at BJ when he ain't looking. I grew up with my dad playing scorpions. He was a single dad and he took me everywhere with his friends. They always had the car hot boxed and I can still remember being in a daze. LOL.
One of the things I love about Scorpions is not only are their songs fantastic but they have a sound that is unique and you always KNOW who it is! Takes me back to high school!
Scorpions were in San Antonio on September 24th. No One Like You was one of their encores. Perfection!! FYI: Ever notice how Asia always looks at BJ like he's out of his mind when he likes something.
My dad told me he used to listen to this overseas when thinking of my mom, and all the guys would rock out to it while drinking at the base when they could get in liquor lol. I imagine his hard ass drunk as a skunk and actually having fun. Awesome song
*Scorpions were one of my favorites...ever since their Lovedrive album. Even got me a tattoo of a Scorpion because of their songs...not because I am a Scorpio. Their albums Lovedrive and Animal Magnetism are their best from the first song to the last on each.*
That is the truth, Lovedrive and Animal Magnetism are both amazing and heavy songs and albums. Does not get much better for me. Anything to do with the Schenkers works in my world. Rock On! 🎸
This was the first Music Video I saw on MTV. They didn't have MTV yet on our local cable, but they did in Atlanta where I was visiting. So for me this is forever connected to early MTV.
Matthias Jabs is one of the most underrated guitar players. He in an amazing player. I will be checking them out tomorrow night in San Antonio. You must see them live BJ & Asia, they put on a great show. Perfect timing go this react
Wife here..My Husband ADORES the Scorpions!!..I do as well!!..AMAZING talent..Great Hard Rock/Metal Band..."Imagine the things we do"..Ms.Asia you ABSOLUTELY picked out one of the greatest lines in the song!!!..Awesome Reaction from my ABSOLUTE favorite reaction channel!!!
The way the guitars sing in this song is so great. Second fav song. Wind of Change is my fav, and I don't know if I could have a dry eye listening to Wind of Change live right now with everything going on in Ukraine. That song marked the hope of peace, the end of the cold war, I remember watching the Berlin Wall come down and the collapse of the USSR and the hope we could live in peace together as brothers and sisters. Hurts so much knowing the iron curtain is back up. You guys should go back and rewatch your old reaction and read the comments to that song before you go to the concert. It was the equivilant of Bob Dylan's Times Are A-Changing for our generation.
The Scorpions have been a force in rock since 1970 and this is just one of many examples of the power and glory of their distinctive sound. Also try Lovedrive, the title cut of what was for me, their best album and Michael Schenker guests on lead guitar while his brother Rudoph belts out titanic heavy Rythym Guitar. Fantastic song and album. Enjoy! 🎵🎸🎤🎸🎶
Scorpions are an incredible band!! This album was one of the greatest of the 1980’s. This one featured Matthias Jabs on lead guitar. To hear phenomenal axe-wielding, you have to listen to their tracks with Uli Jon Roth (the greatest) on lead, or Michael Schenker (another of my favorite) holding it down. Big shout to Klaus Meine with absolutely fantastic vocals on his singing, as always!! Great work, Asia & BJ!!!
The music video was filmed at Alcatraz Island in San Francisco. Such a cool band and song. I really like his voice. "Rock You Like A Hurricane" is my favorite from them.
I haven't read all the comments and don't know if it has already been written: The Scorpions were formed in the late 60s and were very successful first in Japan, and a few years later in the US. They were only famous in Germany in the end of the 80s. But the longest success was celebrated in the US, that's where they had the most fans and the funny thing was that until they went back to Germany, hardly anyone in the US knew that it was a german band.
I pretty much guarantee you any true Heavy Metal Head had this on their mixed cassette back in the day for those special occasions when you were getting lucky.;-) wink nudge nudge
Back in the day there was a lot of people that would go to Ted Nugent concert to just see the Scorpions they where opening act we enjoyed them then leave as for Nugent .. No Bueño
I LOVE to see ya'll reaction because ya'll always get into it and i can tell ya'll appreciate music like it doesn't matter rock country hip hop ya'll are still giving the best reaction 🆗️ oh and i love ya'll intro 😁👍
I have seen them a number of times, they are fantastic live . if they come your way you should go see them. check out the song " believe in love " a bit slower but you will like it.

That's so right, but many in Germany sadly don't think so.
Fellow Air Force vet here! Germany from 88-93 thanks for your service! PS the scorpions were freaking awesome weren't they?!

Exactly!!!

Klaus Meine, one of the great male rock vocalists! Your 5th song from them.
Scorpions are one of the greatest rock bands of all time, so many classic songs.
Scorpion are the undisputed kings of the hard rock ballad. Who says metal isn't romantic?
This was one of my goto bands back in high school...I would pop a cassette tape with the Scorpions and Def Leppard in, and ride my motorcycle through the mountains. It was a great time, I miss those 80's 👍👍
Very cool!
I was in Jr High school when I got my first two cassette tapes, Scorpions - Love at first Sting and Def Leppard - Pyromania
Ahhh what freedom.
Amen bro
@@rantoppp Great memory and great first 2 cassettes!
Blackout was the first Scorpion's album I had. This whole album is great. Scorpions still rockin in the their 70's.
Me too, wore it out.
Blackout was da shit!!
And they Rocked in the 1970s

Sure did.
I had other Scorpion records before Blackout... but this was definitely my favorite. Also, the Blackout tour was the first time I saw them live!
I love how Asia chuckles every time she imagines what Klaus imagines he will do.
Just saw them in concert last week…Klaus is in his 70’s and hes still got it!! Great song
Same and agree!!

Love this song, love the Scorpions. One of my favorite bands.
Scorpions 🤘🏻 Klaus` voice is incredible 🎤🎸
Just saw these guys on 9/19/22 in El Paso, Texas and they'll still kicked ass!
The wailing guitars, the voice, the power, the majesty, the myth, the legend, the Scorps!
Luv it swear to God 🙏❤...
Scorpions were in San Antonio on September 24th. No One Like You was one of their encores. Perfection!!

I think it's cuz he's a bad boy. She gotta keep him on a short leash. 😆😂
He sees good music ❤
This is the song that introduced me to the Scorpions. It’s still my favorite.
One of the greatest guitar solo's ever in a song.
Baddest thing to ever come out of Germany...been a 45yr fan. If you get a chance to see em "live," most definitely go...Scorpions WON'T disappoint.

Scorpions have put out some of the greatest all-time bangers. Bad-ass moFos right there.
This is my husband’s ringtone on my phone! This was our song in the 80’s when we were dating!! 😎🔥💯

They're still kicking ass to this day.
Great reaction guy. Scorpions have so many good songs... keep it going👏👏👏
I like the guitar 🎸 and 🥁'z on this classic 💯💜...
The Scorps are awesome! Been a fan since my highschool days WAAAAAY back in the early 80s. This is probably my favorite.
This was frequently played at dances at my rural high school in the 80s. Almost, but not quite as much as Journey, lol.

If you haven’t reacted to their song “Can’t Live Without You”, it should be considered worthy of taking a look ✌️
great tune off a great album. China White is an overlooked tune but quite good.
Yes, China White, saw them do it live and was a crushing riff. All hail Rudolph Schenker! 🎸
The ancient Hindus imagined what they could do and wrote the Kama Sutra to share with the world.
The Scorpions heaviest song is 'China White', off of Blackout.
"With your dun unce"
