Tamilian here, and I spent a few months in Tiruvanathapuram, had a nice time, made friends with some lovely Kerala brothers and sisters and enjoyed my stay every bit of it. Saw a malayalam film in theatre, ate kerala parrotta and kerala rice, visited some great tourist spots.

Hello my native marthandam very close to kerala. You should hear my avastha when i returned from qatar to Trivandrun. After coming outside of the airport i struggled a lot to get to trivandrum bus stand. After getting to tvm bus stand i reached home within 1 hour. But from airport to bus station it was 1.5 hour. No bus, No metro. 😢 But when i went to qatar i went via chennai. After getting out of the central train station i came outside and there was metro and the metro got me straight to the airport. I got to the airport 2 hours early so i spent the next 2 hours in the mall. And the journey was very smooth. But i expect such facilities for tvm too. Chennai is distant for us. Tvm is our nearest city and even other tamil call us malayalees. So naturally we would expect our near city to have all the facilities as chennai or bangalore. Hope kerala sarkar improves. Thank god our district went to Tamilnadu else we would've suffered the same fate as other district of kerala. Our district is num 1 in education, cleanliness and gdp per capita in TN.

Bro, I was lived in chennai past 57 years and after retirement living in kochi with my son now. Chennai is not good place to live due to IT companies. Lot of traffic jams in peak hours. Only remedy is Metro train. It conncts north Madras and central madras to south madras.and connect s central railway station and Airport by Metro train and suburban train.

Tamilian here, and I spent a few months in Tiruvanathapuram, had a nice time, made friends with some lovely Kerala brothers and sisters and enjoyed my stay every bit of it.

Hello my native marthandam very close to kerala. You should hear my avastha when i returned from qatar to Trivandrun. After coming outside of the airport i struggled a lot to get to trivandrum bus stand. After getting to tvm bus stand i reached home within 1 hour. But from airport to bus station it was 1.5 hour. No bus, No metro. 😢
But when i went to qatar i went via chennai. After getting out of the central train station i came outside and there was metro and the metro got me straight to the airport. I got to the airport 2 hours early so i spent the next 2 hours in the mall. And the journey was very smooth.
But i expect such facilities for tvm too. Chennai is distant for us. Tvm is our nearest city and even other tamil call us malayalees. So naturally we would expect our near city to have all the facilities as chennai or bangalore. Hope kerala sarkar improves. Thank god our district went to Tamilnadu else we would've suffered the same fate as other district of kerala. Our district is num 1 in education, cleanliness and gdp per capita in TN.

chennai past 57 years and after retirement living in kochi with my son now. Chennai is not good place to live due to IT companies. Lot of traffic jams in peak hours. Only remedy is Metro train. It conncts north Madras and central madras to south madras.and connect s central railway station and Airport by Metro train and suburban train.
