I’ve been watching Rachel for years and I’ve noticed that after she did west side story her voice got even better (if that’s even possible) she’s amazing
she probably had lots of vocal coaching specifically or the role in a film of that scale and shed take all of the notes away with her :)
I’ve followed Rachel for a while now. I’m so happy she’s getting the recognition she deserves. I was hella hyped when I found out she got cast in West Side Story
Her resonance and tone is just beautiful. Super pumped to see and more importantly, hear her in the movie!

I love the fact that you describe the vocal tract with the “passages” vocabulary. I’m an opera singer and I find it frustrating that most teachers don’t use that vocabulary with their students! Plus it’s so much easier to understand. Yay!

Ok, you’re the first RUclips teacher that focuses so much on a woman’s bridge/break/passage and I’m hear for it. I’m classically trained(training?) and my first break drives me insane. When I’m up in C6 zone, I’m fine (actually more comfortable above). Give me a G4 and I’m still swearing at my voice teacher. Huge kudos. Something she always uses is a zipper analogy. Like your name.
