around 2:50 you say you can't find modded units in Zeus while you can find them in the Eden editor, I believe this is because of an option in the zeus module. At "Default Addons" you want to select "All Addons (Including unofficial ones)". (:

John Morris just placed down Zeus game master and double click on it then scroll down to System Specific then change where it says Default Addons to all addons including unofficial ones.
Green eyed devils - I do as you said but non of my addon units appear still. Is there anything else i need to do, like setting owner or something?
Well, you gotta have Zeus open on your character that you can use it, otherwise I got no clue, it works for me, sorry man.

Duude you saved my life, I thought in eden editor you couldn't control your troops and such but all you had to do was put zeus and a main character and play as him then press Y. Thank you so much!
Nice video! Can you do a more advanced tutorial next? :) I newer quite get the hang of how to set ut a multiplayer scenario with zeus. Adding playable characters, respawn and loadout, in-game group/squad management and so on. That would be awesome !
LT, as I have just done a new PC, I have now got Arma 3, installed Ares mod via Steam, got the new Apex DLC too, so looking forward to doing some Eden editor and Zeus work, hopefully you can do further editor tutorials and Zeus mission tutorials.. Good job enjoy your work..

I hate this as well. It drives me insane actually and youtube is sadly full of it. A tutorial needs to assume the person watching knows well nothing, or at least the very minimum.
Skipping steps or just glossing over things makes it not a tutorial.

I'd say there is some advanced technics which you should cover in next video, like ManageResources module or (I was recently reminded of that) addEtitableObjects.

How do you add target markers for artillery to fire at? In one of your last Zeus videos, you pre sighted a hill top for your morters? and can this be linked to work for ai players, i.e if they spot a human team, and call in a morter strike etc?
curious when you showed groups, an spawned a pre built base, where did you get it from cause in mine its all blank theres nothing in there
Can someone help me out. In Luetins more recent zeus videos, I see ACE options in the game editor which I would like to get. One option in the beach assault video was placing intel on an ai. When i run ace i dont see any of what i see Luetin has, when he runs a mission for the team. any chance of explaining/ showing us that
how do you make it so you can play a custom map (mod) in zues? I got a few maps id love to play in that mode
Really like the brightness settings here. Nice deep shadows and dark blacks. How do you get this? Gamma settings?

nope, not possible to play on the map you must purchase apex
Also if I wanted to add Artillery to my team but wanted to be able to call for arty support (with the arty operators being AI), how do I go about doing that?

Btw, there is some cases to where just placing the ZEUS game master script doesnt actually allow the player to access ZEUS..to bypass this, when you place down the gamemaster, double click it and in the section that says Player/or/Name (first line on the last tab) simply type in #AdminLogged and save. that will do it
Hey mate your base looked like the e4 sign 😁
you could always spot them, bring them up in map, shift+click their location and spitball the distance from there and just adjust on the fly for elevation.
Is it possible to save for example a base from a mission in the campaign with zeus and then have it as a custom compostion in the Eden Editor?
very understanding tutorial ,but wandering in case we have a mod about police cars and want to switch on the properties like sirens -police lights and any other stuff of them how can we use them inside Zeus ?
will this work for multiplayer also when i look at other game play zeus they do not have a resource limit or a circle around players that they cannot edit any help?

Hey luetin I'm having a issue where i set down the game master and i load into multiplayer and it just wont open zues at all, I'm trying to do it on malden 2035 and all I did was put a unit down, make him playable and put down the game master and it won't let me access zues at all, is there anything ?

great video, just a tip. To get mods just double click the game master in the editor and check use add-ons.

Great video! Just a question.. Is it possible to make the players i spawn visible when I am in zeus, rather than having to try and find them manually when ingame with my friends.. I want some kinda logo to appear showing where players are at and such... like default zeus seeing players... if that makes any sense..
Yeah if you use the ares mod you can add objects in the certain distances like he showed in the video but what you do is just place that down near them and it will make a little red circle around them

Hi. I've got a problem. I've got many mods (mostly from wotkshop) including some units. These mods are working perfectly in editor and VR arzenal, but they aren't working in Zeus. Only one mod works and that is RHS. Please help! (Btw, I haven't got any DLCs).

as I previously said at Jester's - pity some functions of Eden cannot be available at Zeus. Search through assets f.e. Or Custom compositions.

heey Luetin, could you make a guide on how to make an VR Arsenal Box? like the those on literally every server. Would be very useful to test weapons and quickly making presets in a editor test map.

Kool...thnx bro....been offfline for about a year, but been in ArmaIII scince the old DayZ ArmaII Dayz....I miss all this stuff and as an old man I realize I got a lot of catching up to go...pfffff....you kids are awesome...I want to be the old man that kicks your kids assses...or joins a group....I want to have code name Grampa or Old Mr Mustard....you kids are fun as hell. they should show up after a few minutes. If not and you have the ARES mod you can go Utilities > Add objects to Zeus and it will add them.

I can get as far as dropping in game master and loading in but then It wont let me click on any of the units or system modes at all when im in Zeus. all of the assets are completely locked. I just downloaded all the must have mods for arma but now my zeus doesnt work =/

How do you limit what zeus can spawn? Like a cost system to make it so zeus can't spawn infinite things.
My issue is, I can't turn on the vehicles' lights ON if I remote control some NPC. Just no option available.

The Bases you mean are propably added by the Ares mod.
Would you be willing to do a short vid on how to install Ares. I have installed many other mods but for some reason Ares in not cooperating. the Ares icon shows up on the main screen but it does not show up in Zeus. I am running only MCC, CBA3 and hopefully Ares. Great video.
Try opening Zeus with mcc and if that doesn't work try reinstallingl Ares.
I have tried that but still no Ares. Other than putting a @folder in the main Arma folder where else do I need to place Ares files, is probably what I like to know at this point.
Try going to the steam workshop and installing Ares from there. and then trying loading Arma up but make sure its loaded.

Damn it could be bugged from the new apex DLC cause i know RHS is bugged.
Is anyone else having the issue where the "Men" sections don't show up in Eden? I noticed that they are all there in this video, but the only way I was able to place any infantry was by going to the compositions and loading in whole groups instead of individuals.

im not entirely sure but i belive in the zues module you got to give it a tag or something and only players with that tag have it

Most likely both. He has apex and the other one is for base Arma.

From what I've seen when he does his Zeus stuff it's blast core and JSRS but when he's making missions he's most likely useing both RHS's
