All of this stuff is super important stuff to anyone restoring Mopars. I commend you on keeping all of it safe for future use, whether it be your use or for someone looking for what they need. Hoarding is such a negative sounding word, collecting sounds so much better. Whatever you want to call it, don't stop, someone will need these things eventually. ❤
Cold days deserve inside work! Thanks for the tour. All of the small parts are so important in a major restoration! Hoarder, yes. But a necessary hoard to have in your business! I have been to your property 30 plus years ago to pick up parts from Ben, truly our Northwest parts guru of yester-year!
What do Mopar guys do when they run out of room for parts? They build more barns, pull up shipping containers, recover the neighbor's unwanted metal sheds, scour the countryside for buildings people want moved...etc. So when there is no more room MAKE MORE ROOM!
How many times have you had to buy a part you know you had but couldn't find? I think I'd build a new building. Start filling, organizing and inventory the new building by cleaning out the old ones one by one. As one empties. Fill it the same way.
Even for the most popular classic cars the are many parts that will never be reproduced. 'Hoarding' is often used to imply something has little to no value. With old parts, it's the complete opposite.
Where I get in trouble is the “take everything” deals. Get a good price to clean out the garage but then end up with a lot of stuff I necessarily wouldn’t buy otherwise. But it’s all good stuff and getting so hard to find.
Since I've started watching your channel I constantly catch myself eyeing the background stuff thinking that I'd love to wander through your shop looking around. This vid scratched that itch. Thanks. I don't think you're a hoarder, I think you're a fully committed Mopar expert!! Oh, and Jamie is gonna organize your parts stash? I've seen the video of his shop from when he closed it down...good luck with that. LOL
I’ve got a 63 Dodge 330 2 Door sedan. I could use a drivers side rear quarter trim. I’m building a max wedge tribute. I can use all kinds of parts for that.
Well, you do have a 'few' more bits and pieces than I do. However, when it's a good part, unobtainium new, and it fits something still out there, it's definitely not hoarding 😁
I was a good friend of ben snobar sure miss him he knew everything about mopars it looks like you bought a lot of his parts handy to have he had about 150 or so assorted fenders in his garage i don't see any fenders in your video did you not get a chance to get some of them at the auction
If you didn't have all the parts like you have then you wouldn't be able to keep cars like mine on the road. And with how busy and back logged you are with car projects I can see how it would be hard to keep everything super organized.
@@rocketresto I know the feeling but with tools spending more time looking for a tool I know I have then actually time it takes for the repair thankfully it’s my own repair
To me a hoarder is someone who collects and is never willing to part or trade with someone who really needs a part. They will never use, sell, or even trade with another with what they have in their lifetime.

My estate sale is going to be epic.
I don't see any problems, you are keeping the parts dry and safe. Really, you are a Mopar hero 🤣

Great stuff, thank you!
Tom, you sir have a problem LOL What a fabulous hoard!
It’s my life goal to make other feel better about the hoards they have.

A lot of the sheet metal sold in the auction and went east. Ended up with a lot of stuff from the auction.
i still remember Frank Mitchell's warehouse in Columbus Ohio'before it burnt down.
He had a lot more stuff than that
Do you have a good set of under hood ac hoses for an air conditioned 68 B body Plymouth Satellite, and how could I buy them from you?
Quite the hoard!!
Rocket Resto binge watch engage.

Never been busier, our waiting list is years right now.
I need a 93 truck grill..... look at that NOS see how bad it is cracked
It’s a painted not chrome one. Have some decent used ones.
Damn It Boy... That's a lot of stuff.👀
That’s just one building
Gee, dang it, don’t tell anyone! Dam I want a 400 cold weather block!
Have a could 400’s but not sure which one.
Used could be ok... mine is broken in a lot of places
Wow that’s a bit overwhelming!
It’s a lot
🇺🇸👍 It’s better to have it and not need it, then to need it and not have it. Organization would be nice. 👍
Really hoping to spend some time this spring and do a big reorg, if you can’t find the stuff what is the point?

Looking like you need that other building back...
If I didn’t rent it out I knew I’d fill it.
i was given back the "normal" human beingstatus after showing my wife your vid
Glad I could help!
Parts!
So many parts, and that is just one of the buildings.
I’d say you’re a collector, not a hoarder.
As long as its not in your kitchen or living room , your OK.
Have a good separation of church and state.
Even if it is, and you still have room to move, then it's fine 😁
Nothing wrong with hoarding mopar parts

Most everything is for sale - just gets a little overwhelming sometimes
Jamie clean it up? lol hire me I'll organize your stuff and I'll give you some 14" 69 charger hubcaps
Jamie charges too much to organize my junk 😜
😂🍻
