    Same to 3x5 and 5+5+5. Both have 15 as the answer. The one has lengthy process while the other one use the short one and yet they get the same result. You can't say that they're wrong since they use different method but at the end of the day you still get the same result. What i really like about CRZ is that they share. Like we all know bike fitting is expensive for ordinary people either process you use to be honest. But CRZ use a platform, build a community, shared it to everyone for the sake of sharing knowledge and entertainment. Keep up the great work coach.

    Your bike fitting is very good for road bike, when it comes to mountain biking it s very dynamic especially when you are going down hill. I have adjusted my shoes so that I can use my hamstrings. You are very right In that sense.But when it comes to mountain biking you have to have wider stands and especially when you are going downhill you have to have move backwards. Like other bikes some have droppers seats so that they have to be in the back of the bike to balance it out.

    • @CruzControlPH
      @CruzControlPH  3 года назад +4

      Thank you for this wonderful comment. Absolutely makes perfect sense. For this particular episode, the individuals were asked up front where they ride their MTB’s. 100% ON PAVED SMOOTH CEMENT roads. The solution for their challenges were specific to the use and function of their preference. Thus , the optimal approach for their road riding adventure is different if they opted to be tuned for extreme cross country riding. We try to explain it like tuning your car. If you bought a 4x4 truck with 32inch wheels and knobby tires but drive it exclusively in the high speed expressways, this would empty your gas faster and arrive at your destination far more stressed from the hard knobby off-road tires. These boys just wanted to ride faster and climb better on the highways they frequent, thus the solution had to be custom specific

      @@CruzControlPH on point on both. Even XC riders get their bikes fitted closer to their road bike. And yeah just changed to 32 AT tires on my mall crawler and the mpg is atrocious. Where is your fit clinic? Would like to visit and get fitted pag natapos na pandemic restrictions. We enjoy watching and learning from your vlogs. Stay safe.

      Thank you for your kind comment. “Cycling is just like church - many attend, but few understand.” A very good quote indeed. Whether it’s riding leisurely around town, on the trails close to home, or racing on the road, cycling is a complex endeavor that takes on its own meaning for each and every rider. There are a lot of different dynamics in each and you may know what each consists of but the feeling and meaning each gives to a rider is different. Understanding cycling as a whole can be strived toward but it’s one of those things that can never be fully understood. You can understand parts of it, particularly that of your chosen discipline be it mountain, road, commuting, or leisure, but few understand nearly all of it.

    Hi coach. I'm from Malaysia and followed you from Facebook. I'm roadbike user but now I bought a MTB for on road cycling. Question is i do my own fitting, when i cruise on flat road i felt great. But when come to climbing, i felt slightly struggle. Cant climb like usual and use fully my energy/power. Any solution for this? Or the problem come from my leg? *Sorry for my broken English*

    • @CruzControlPH
      @CruzControlPH  3 года назад

      hi Peter, good to see you on this channel. Climbing is a stressful activity because you are going against gravity. For this, weight of the individual takes a huge energy zap. Without having to undergo specialized coaching, the best would be to lighten yourself up. a 1kg difference can do wonders. Assuming you are at the best weight for your height, the next plausible explanation is the pedaling technique. With your description, it seems like you are depending solely on your quads. This can be verified if you feel your legs (Particularly the Quads) heavy and burning when you climb and takes a while for them to recover. The solution is modifying your pedal stroke execution. I hope this helps
