I’m not sure how often you’ve seen Catfish or any online “love story” but yes, people can get really attached/find a connection to someone they’ve never met especially if the person is consistent, and never wavers in the the bad times OR helps them trough a truly difficult time. COVID is a perfect example of falling in love despite having never met.

Same here! She had gone through a lot and it seemed like she really cared about the guy. And honestly she has a really pretty face, not to say she isn’t beautiful at her current weight, but if she got healthier she’d be a knockout.

Yes. That was the most real heartfelt apology I have ever seen. Although I would have been angry that I was lied to.....I understood where she was coming from. I hope things turn around for her.
One of the few people on Catfish my heart ♥ was torn for. Bless her. Especially in this world where people can be so unbelievablely shallow when it comes to dating. I don't think she ever created the profile maliciously unlike most. Not justifying what she done. I just think she's a lost soul especially after her accident and needed someone to talk to. Hope things got better for her.
I think both people in that situation did the best they could. I think she was sincere in her apology and I think he was as respectful as he could be in accepting it but understandably wanting to move on and not have contact.

I found out it's actually possible to live in today's society and not be able to vid chat! 🤯 I thought I was hunting down a catfish, all super sleuth, ready to bust a fool out! Ends up...dude was just BROKE AF. Apparently, those governmentally issued phones in The States do not have video call and regular app capability. So, you're looking at one of two endings, it's going to be some creeper catfish in his mom's basement, or they're homeless. I think the vics just hope for poor, because they can toss dude a blanket and a hamburger, but not a facelift.
