Awesome as always. It’s amazing what is available on iOS.. but dare I say that GarageBand is looking.. a bit.. erm.. dated?! Downloading. Thanks Patrick. 👍🏻
Monolit sounds great and ideal for retro synth style music. Free is always a big plus. Picked up Steel Guitar Pro last night and it's very impressive. Even as a non-guitar player I was getting some great sounds from it. Lots of guitars, effects and presets. All for less than a fiver. Bargain.
Great video man! Always love your stuff. What software are you using to record your screen shares? Im looking for one that records in stereo and sounds like your does! Thanks for any help and keep up the great work.
Hi Patrick and thanks for the update, these plugins are amazing! The drummer tutorials you've made are brilliant and helped me make some unique loops from the drummer tracks. I am finding it tricky to create a "modern metal" drum loop and create blast beat passages that don't sound 'sped up' and breakdowns that just sound unnaturally slow. There is so much variety within the drummer library I'm sure that with a bit of creativity and knowledge I'm only a blast beat away from creating my own Dave Lombardo - do you have a modern metal drum tutorial that could help?
Patrick, stopped by today Sat 25th June, just to point out to your community and yourself, Yonac are selling their synths on the appstore for 99c or equivalent, where you are in the world. The likes of Kauldron, there’s not even IAPs to get, it seems. Most are AUv3 too. Ends Sunday. This is not an endorsement, but if you wanted a pretty good analog type synth for peanuts, standalone and AUv3, this is your chance. All the best, soldier on my good man.
The bass sound in your review of Pandlow is lush, man. I love your channel having just bought an iPadPro, I’m dropping in pieces recorded from my phone, Zoom H4N and Focusrite into GarageBand. There’s so much scope with GarageBand. Ever heard of Benoit Pioulard?! Look him up. Everything in GarageBand and releases via Kranky plus others.
Thank you for this Patrick. Is there software out there, free or otherwise, that "sings" words that have been entered? That is, if I type in a word or phrase, can they be programmed to sing a given note(s) in a given voice? A simple version of this came with Macs many (20+) years ago. Thanks.
I'd encourage those with the money available to go ahead and get Flux Pro from Caelum Audio. The free Flux Mini is pretty good, but Flux Pro has a dizzying array of options for musicians and sound designers that cannot be ignored.
Hello Patrick. Is there any app in iOS to normalize and compress our tracks?. Garage band on my iPad Air is not allowing me to merge anymore and a message pops up saying I need to free my ipad space which I did and I even eliminated several apps I had and still won't let me merge. And my iPad storage says I am using 26 GB of the 32 it has. Its frustrating because it had never done this before.
they are all completely accessible for blind and visually impaired users like me. absolutely incredible
Really? That's amazing!
Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching! 👍

I kinda like that the UI still looks how it did in the olden days. It reminds me of better times

How do you sidechain in flux mini 2 via midi (from a kick or s.th.) in AUM? Would be great if you can make a tutorial on that. Cheers
Hey Patrick, have you tried out bluetooth control pedals on GB? If so, do you have any recommendations?
I haven’t I’m afraid!
How do u know all this stuff???!?! Great youtube channel!!!!
My town was two small to really quarantine we only had like 25 infectious people.
Does a function exist on garageband ios where I can pitch shift my voice?
How can I connect monolit with garage band? Thanks.
Open it as an AU instrument - more info on how to do that here: ruclips.net/video/ElJbHm43a7Q/видео.html
Thanks, very clear

Not as far as I’m aware Sean.
@@TheGaragebandGuide Thank you sir.
Look up Pipa. May get close to what you’re looking for.
