Hi, very nice paint job. As a Scimitar driver, gunner and then commander in many theatres and in combat, I’d like to give you a couple of pointers where you went slightly wrong on this build. Firstly, I’m not sure why you slackened the track like the Russians but cvr/t never drive with track that slack resting on the roadwheels! Big no no! Second, mud always used to stick like glue to the underside of the sponson plates about track and under the mudflaps. Always!! Thirdly, the parts of the track where the wheels are running on always wore down to bare metal quickly including the spuds in the middle and the rear idler wheel. Otherwise this is good. 👍🏻
Really nice work. A suggestion, however; you might think about showing your finished work for a bit longer towards the end of your video . Your camera work is great. I'll be looking forward to seeing your next model build and paint job.
@@boboscalemodels3244 ,yes they should be a lighter sky blue/aquamarine. My service was between 80s and 90s. Also we had lots of ammo boxes bolted around where the floatation sceen originally was.
Hello mr. B!your spruecutter seems a bit chunky.if you would invest a few bugs in a decent spruecutter you would not have as much sanding.with sticky greetings from Brandenburg germany.faithfully yours.your modellmate.christian
The British light Dragoons used to drive into minefields In their Scimitars. Fellow Canadians died for their stupidity. Maybe make this model a burnt out wreck. I was there

Thanks, I'll keep that in mind next time
Welcome to the Armour community, I'm building AFV clubs new AVRE Centurion just now myself

Thanks for the suggestion, next time I'll show it off for a bit longer c:
A great job there
Great video and what a beautiful model it turned out! Sorry, would you happen to recall where you got the 3rd party decals from? Thanks very much.
I bought them on plastmodel.pl
@boboscalemodels3244 Thank you!
Excellent job.
Nice work, however, the tracks are too lose. For real the track does not drop down on the road wheels at the top. Just saying as a former driver.
I'll keep that in mind for the future, thanks!
@boboscalemodels3244 you're welcome my friend.
nice work!
Great video!!
Looks like a fantastic model! Great job!
Do the CVRT family have the same running gear as the M113?
The running gear looks similar, but it's not the same I think. Although I'm not an expert on these particular vehicles so don't take my word for it
100% not the same.
the blue on periscopes is a little too dark. I know ,having driven them for over 5 years. very good though
Should the blue on the periscopes also be lighter on other British AFV's?

@@malcolmwilkins2495 Thanks a lot! I'll definitely use that info for a future model

To be honest, I don't really mind all of the sanding and cleaning, but thank you for the advice anyways c:

The tracks are not right,they dont sit correctly,shame that
you can change it to the plastic track
Too much Ado.Make it Simple..
