- We frequently take for granted the magnificent innovation that transformed the course of history - the internal combustion engine - in a world powered by engines, where the roar of horsepower fills the air. But have you ever wondered who was responsible for this breakthrough invention?
The internal combustion engine represents a watershed moment in the history of the automobile industry and humans.
Internal combustion engines power practically all vehicles seen on the road, from cars and motorbikes to planes in the sky and ships at sea. This engine is the replacement for old-fashioned steam engines or external combustion engines. However, this engine is undeniably more efficient than its predecessor.
I cannot fathom how this video only has 3 comments.
Idk how it has less than 200 likes
Maybe it has something to do with them showing a jet-powered aircraft while saying ICEs power planes.
Wow the algorithm done this video dirty
Ein gutes Video dass der Wahrheit über den Verbrennungsmotor sehr nahe kommt. Der Verbrennungsmotor wird noch lange weiterleben.
This is so underrated ❤
Left in awe.
This guy literally the only reason why we have international travel and reliable cargo transport and the comments that are being written are repeating the name of the video what a mockery
The Holy Grail of Ground Transport ought to be to develop a renewable fuel ICE that is both non-polluting and cheap with a readily scalable infrastructure. ... At least till antigrav & fusion.
The Men Who Invented The Internal Combustion Engine!
The first? „The first internal combustion engines were already known in the 1850s. In the 1850s, Christian Reithmann operated gas engines that he had developed and built himself. Étienne Lenoir was able to operate a gas engine from 1859. In 1860, the Hippomobile was operated with it and went down in the history of the automobile.“ (German Wikipedia)
„The first commercially successful internal combustion engine was created by Étienne Lenoir around 1860, and the first modern internal combustion engine, known as the Otto engine, was created in 1876 by Nicolaus Otto.“ (English Wikipedia)
Why didnt you give credit to the old looking videos? that wasnt made by you, all you did was talk over it.
You spelled and pronounced Reitwagen incorrectly. Gottleib Daimler made the Otto engines when in his employ, but left since Otto had no interest in mobile engines. Daimler company (DMG) is today known as Daimler Benz.
His head is 🙏
you could've worded this better

Why are you using Kilometers I am from earth please use miles and yards like a human
A Kilometer are equal to .0,62 of a mile. If you driving at 100 km, so you going 62 mph.
It's not hard to convert. Use both.
Eh sorry but only the us uses the Imperial System (and No its not better)
@@drqad It's not hard to use either.
@@Carlitosway211 it is indeed not Logical like why are the numbers so random
Why is 5,10 feet larger than 5,1 feet ke whatever
It’s a crime that the internal combustion engine is being phased out now 🥲
