It was indeed a pretty good adaptation, they even added some cool stuff like introducing Aji Tae (and his panther bodyguard) earlier, which must have made some viewers want to get into the manga more with those teases. I originally got into this manga early, because *Berserk* has been my favorite manga for 17 years at this point, and a dozen years ago a friend of mine told me that this SAO manga had a story somewhat similar to Berserk, not as good of course, but I can see the similitudes in the overall story. Luckily, SAO got published in France a long, long time ago, so I could just buy the volumes (we've had a loooot of manga series and animes that have been translated in French very early on) The ressemblances between Guts and Munsu are there, and Griffith and Ajie Tae also have some parallels... the story's structure with its flashbacks and, well I don't want to spoil too much, but after having read countless mangas over my 35 years on this planet, IMHO this one is guaranteed to satisfy Berserk fans looking for a similar story, but in a different setting. *ABSOLUTE JUSHIN!!!*
@@randallflagg3700 I like this one cuz it has guns why ahead of its era but berserk should be entered final arc. Idk where to read the manga of the anime so mind telling be source
The name of this anime definitely is, "Blade of the Phantom Master a.k.a. Shin Angyo Onshi! (Date: Dec 4, 2004 & Duration: 1 Hr. 25 Mins) Sub Movie Version".
if this would be a proper anime series I think that Tasuhisa Suzuki, Koji Yusa, Takehito Koyasu, and Kazuhiko Inoue would be good fits for the main character.
I wish someday this anime get some revamp
Same

この作品はとても好きです。単行本と外伝持っています。そして、色々と考えさせてくれる漫画でまさかムンス将軍が😢って単行本のあの辺りで。詳しく書くと単行本読んでない方々いるので書けませんが。

This in my top 10. Exceptional camera angels and fighting scenes. Great story

Good one, thank you!
Some voices from Bleach, i think.
